WordPress: Create Stunning Wordpress Websites for Business (Udemy.com)

I had a lot of issues when trying to follow along with the videos. Since Diego Davila used an older version of WordPress, while I used the latest version, I had a lot of theme/plugin compatibility issues. For example, I couldn't use the same version of the Evolve plugin as he did (it broke my site), so I had to use the newest version, which looks a lot different than the one the video. And the SumoMe plugin wouldn't work because it triggered a fatal error. If you want to see what WordPress can do, this is a good course. But if you want to follow along with the videos and not just watch them, be prepared to figure out a lot of things by yourself such as finding alternative plugins and themes.

I have taken many courses with Udemy; this has been the only difficult to follow. Some essential information, such as downloading an outdated WordPress version to follow along, was communicated after downloading the updated version, creating confusion for a beginner builder. I had to use youtube creators instead.

For a beginner like me it's a really good course. Fast and going quickly at the essential. Maybe i need to see a few more practices and learning stuff courses to be really at ease with WordPress. But with this course you can really start your first business blog, so the aim is done. I really liked part on the WordPress plugin, very usefull for me

trés important contenu , bonne présentation avec les détails , la seule probleme c que les plugins qu'ils utilisent sont pas disponibles pour le moment , ils son un peu ancien maintenant , autre que ca , excellent professeur , I really like this course , Thank you . as I complete it now , I really find the the course so amazing ,the professor so nice and professional skills of teaching , that's really great , don't miss this course =D

I wish I found this course a year ago. That was when I started to use WordPress. It has been very thorough at everything I need to get a basic site up and running. I appreciate the explanation of all the different plugins. This would have saved me countless hours of searching for information had I found this course last year.

Cons: The theme provided is a lite version. The plugins have all updated and have paywalls (but are generally unnecessary). Pros: The information for how to use WordPress works great, when WordPress is behaving. My personal issue: At one point all the theme images for main, etc. from any downloaded theme packs stopped working. They just didn't appear, it was very frustrating, 18 hours later, I went so far as to uninstall WordPress, delete everything from my server and start again. Still no dice, bought seperate server space from an alternative provider, installed, WTH still no dice. Read every post from people having the same problem, their solutions were to turn off hotlink protection, no dice, or change file access permissions, again no dice. Completely at a loss. After trying everything I could think of for two and a half days, magically a few of the themes start working, but not all of them... This isn't the instructor's problem necessarily, though it started shortly after I deleted the sample page. but that could screw up a fresh install on a separate server after the fact. I've completed the course and know enough to modify a page, assuming it loads correctly in the first place. A very frustrating experience, I'm use to making my own pages in HTML5, CSS and Javascript, I assuming Wordpress was to make things easier. Dear lord, I could have built a dynamic page in the time it's taken me to not fix this. XD

This is a truly great course for someone who wants to make a great WordPress website. The instructor has a very pleasant demeanor and speaks very well. The material is easy to follow and understand. Not only does the instructor teach you how to make a beautiful WordPress website but he also shows you great resources to use to help you. He provides useful websites and google search tricks that make everything easier. I am very happy with this course and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to make a great modern looking website using WordPress.

this is a great course for beginners with little to no experience working with wordpress. the instructor "touched" on so many key features that other courses i have taken did not bother to speak about such as adding free security features, analytics and back up data information. i would really recommend this course to anyone even if you do have experience because the instructor focuses on so many key areas of the website development.

this is one of the best Wordpress course I've ever watched on udemy. I highly recommend this training to everyone P.S I'd love to be a part of other trainings by the same instructor so Dear Instructor if you could provide me some coupons of other courses as well I'd greatly thankful to you. I'm also looking for a short video of grabbing traffic at the website if you can make a vodeo in this course it will be so helpful for all students

It is a good course for beginners. One can gain proper insights on Wordpress. However, the instruction should discuss little bit more on commenting on posts like for example How to comment on specific blog posts using facebook account or using any other social media instead of the usual wordpress "Leave a Reply" method.
