WordPress for eCommerce: Build online stores with WordPress (Udemy.com)

It was exactly what I was expecting. I'll be providing pros n cons, so buyers can have a comparative study. Would love to have a course for the next level with advance customization as well as theme and plugin development based course outline. Pros : 1. You'll be building an eCommerce website with almost all the major functionalities needed. 2. Only Elementor was purchased which is actually worth the price. Cons : 1. Designing can be greatly improved. 2. A bit more custom CSS would be preferable. (For Coders) My suggestion - Just go for it.

Section 5 has lectures which are repetitions. There is a problem with the continuity while building the website in the initial sections. The website and the product list changes frequently. Section 6 again has repetitions and misleading titles to lectures. Type 3 products was supposed to be on grouped products but was on simple product. Similary type-4 products (affiliate products) section in Section 6 is all wrong. Needs serious revisions. UPDATE: 1. The course uses Elementor PRO which is a paid plugin. 2. Lot of lectures are repetitions of previous lectures. 3. Overall, half of the total course is useful.

Although I am a Web hosting and Web design company, but am completely self taught, I know that there are blanks in my knowledge of WordPress/SEO/Ecommerce - although this is taking me back to basics, so far, I like the bite size chunks, and I can learn whilst working, and in this field, this is by far the best way to do it. EDIT: Thank you for this amazing course - it made me realise that there wasn't that many blanks in my knowledge, this course has now given me the confidence to create fully funcional e-commerse sites.

I got this course on sale and I have to give it 5 stars given the content and extras provided. Having access to Tanzeel's subdomain for practicing developing content has been very nice. I like that you come away from this course with something that is really useful. Essentially you get a few functioning eCommerce website templates. Tanzeel comes off as a genuinely nice guy who cares about his students. Accents don't bother me at all, but I've read a lot of reviews on Udemy where people complain about that. Tanzeel is very easy to understand though so you don't have to worry about that. Wordpress is a very rich CMS and there's still much to explore. The number of available plugins is overwhelming. But it's nice to know I have the content of this course to fall back on. This course also provides information on a lot of related websites that I was completely unaware of- things like reseller hosting, free high quality pictures for your websites, affiliate programs, etc.

I did not know a thing about WordPress before this course, and I learned so much in this course, that I feel confident that I can make a decent WordPress site by myself now. I only followed along with the course this time, but I plan to watch the videos pertaining to the first website again and work along with it while setting up my own ecommerce site. Tanzeel was very engaging, knowledgable and enthusiastic about WordPress, and he made learning this stuff fun. I looked forward to what I would learn in each video, especially when he was creating the first website. I will admit that I got a bit lost in a few places once he started the second website, but there is so much information that he covered in this course, that I would expect a beginner like me would get confused here and there. There are a few things I want to learn more in depth about after completing this course, but I am definitely so happy that I bought this course, and I am excited to create my own site now, as well as keep learning more about WordPress, now that I have a pretty solid foundation. Just completed the course. Have enjoyed the course all through and especially the end. This is what I call great customer service - exceeded my expectations. Not only does Tanzeel provide a training to us, but he goes the extra mile showing us how to make money on line and set up our own business. The closing lecture was a song which really talked to me personally as I had taken this course to develop my skills to set up my own business since I have been without a job for almost 1 year now.... so motivating this song, I have goose bumps all over. This course mainly covers what you will need to know to set up ecommerce with WordPress & WooCommerce. The instructor gives plenty of instruction on what to do. He is also very responsive to questions asked, which makes this class highly rated and worth taking. There are some videos that were updated, making the next video "suddenly" have different items (e.g. you'll create an Android category of mobiles, then the next video has Motorola and LG categories instead). Also, there are new plugins in Wordpress since the recordings, so you might end up using different plugins (e.g. Paypal Express Checkout & Weight Based Shipping). Overall, this course gives you plenty of instruction to get going, including SEO integration and making your site more secure. My only tiny gripes would be his accent can be a tad difficult to understand certain words. Also, overuse of the word "Amazing" does get annoying. Other than that, this instruction is excellent and I highly recommend this course!

This is what I was looking for! Building E-commerce website has been my goal since a long time.I think this is the right place to make my goal become a reality. The lecturer of this course is teaching in a precise and understanding way. I now completed this course, the course contains what I have been looking for ,no university will give what our Lecturer has given to us. First time review: This course is built in a very easiest way to understand. I am over 65 years old and not from computer generation. And I am medically not fit because of heart problem. I have 3 stents in my heart & recently had triple bypass surgery. And my mind is not absorbing information 100%, but still I was able to find this course easy to understand. Only thing is I will repeat this course atleast couple of times more so my mind can absorb 100% and I can become good to build the site without problem. So I give this course 100% HANDS UP. Second time review after completing again this course with new updates by Tanzeel: For many months I was moving with this course very very slowly because of my severe health issues. Even though I have completed this course once before. But after his updates I thought I will try again. This time suddenly, I was fired up, even with the present severe health issues, got inspired & confidence. You know how? Because of Tanzeel's new updated versions in November 2017. The Magic for me in this update was, again & again same very easy to follow repetitive actions but for all the different jobs. These repetitive action worked as Magic for me. Now my mind was easily able to absorb everything. Now believe me I am fired up & got full confidence to move ahead with my passion to establish the Online Business. I will encourage people of my age (even if they have any health issues or any other issues age related etc) or older or younger as well to go for this course with full confidence. This course was very useful to me, providing step-by-step instructions on building an e-commerce website. It also gives a lot of information about SEO, which is a subject that I was also looking into. Tanzeel’s approach to building a website was very comprehensive. I only have two critiques of his presentation. Firstly, he came across as someone who makes up his presentation as he is presenting it. This gets him into trouble sometimes, specifically when things aren’t working. I would recommend that he either re-record these parts or edit them to remove the sections in which a website didn’t respond the way he expected, or a similar situation. The other is his overuse of the word “amazing”. I had to laugh when he said it for the twentieth to fiftieth time. Cool down, buddy, not everything is amazing…Otherwise, cheers to you for presenting in English. That being said, I think that you will get a lot out of this course, especially if you are designing an e-commerce site for yourself or any potential customers.
