Yes! It met my expectations. I've encountered a few things I hadn't considered and those tips were very helpful.

A bit dull and unengaging. Seems very based on the opinions on the presenter and his experiences, and doesn't match everyone's experience or a broad collection of views.

I have worked from home for many years, long before most people did, and my performance actually increased since I have no distractions at home. I am also sick less, since there's nobody bringing germs from their families/kids into the office and giving it to me, so I miss less work. I spend no time going to/from work, so I spend less money as well. My job doesn't require other people so I can sit down and start my work. We do have specific hours to work, but there is some flexibility but there is no need to go to the office; I can work from home or on a beach or anywhere I have the internet. I only take my scheduled breaks and lunch as I am not on salary, so there's no making coffee or doing laundry or walking around when I feel like it, so my company isn't losing any money during my work day. I don't have to wait in line for the restroom, the microwave, etc when it is time for break so that's less frustrating. If I do need to talk to somebody, we have email and chat. I'm not lonely, I do not miss the office at all since it was often distracting. I love working from home and hope I can do so for the rest of my career. Lots of good points in this course to back up what I have been doing and continue to do.

Chris Croft is a great teacher. Not only is he knowledgeable on the topics he is teaching, but also he is animated and sometimes sneaks a funny in. I like waiting until the afternoon, when I am the most tired, to watch his teaching videos because they are so enlightening and entertaining.

I attended Chris Croft’s “Working from Home Effectively” training. Although the content was fairly generic, it is highly applicable across all fields. As someone working from home for a Turkish IT company in Pakistan, I found it extremely helpful. The training was very engaging, I didn’t get bored even once. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their remote work skills.

This course was very engaging. Great points shared by the presenter to help me work better from home.
By Joshua Nickels on 10/14/2025
This was a very warm and informative presentation. Void of the loud, hokey music and intrusive graphics and instead given concisely and with honesty. I also enjoyed your addendum for 2025; I think that it is telling that the main statement is with regard to control, as I think that management does tend to attract those who value control to the exclusion even of results. I think that bent toward surveillance is precisely why Apple fails to be progressive in this regard, even though I think that home work, in partial or full, is the eventual future of most formerly office positions, not only for the savings it offers to companies, but for the quality of life and productivity boost it offers employees.
