XML and XML Schema Definition in Easy Steps (Udemy.com)

Ursprünglich hatte ich diesen kurs aus eigenem Interesse gekauft. Mittlerweile sind in meinem Angestelltenverhältnis aber Anforderungen wegen der europäischen EN 16931 Norm hinzugekommen, die ab 1. Januar 2025 verpflichtend umgesetzt sein müssen. Das kann ich damit und ein wenig Programmierung hervorragend verwirklichen. Vielen Dank dafür.

The course is fantastic for beginners in learning XML and XML schema. The only thing I did not like about the course was the 3 sections on parsers because the instructor either did not put enough detail in describing the pieces of the parser or relied heavily on quick commands. Overall can recommend the course due to how the instructor simplifies concepts.

I have been working with XML and XML Schemas for many years, mostly as a "consumer", never as a creator. This course greatly expanded my knowledge in a very clear and concise way with respect to the creation of XML files, the creation of Schemas and also how to validate the XML using Java, which for me was the most important. The course has many (many!) videos, but each lesson is exactly the right length, and is very clear. There is never any side-tracking, every video is focused on the one subject of that video. Great work, creating this course. I am looking forward to learn more from Bharath and Udemy.

The instructor was really good at explaining everything and knew what he was talking about. The only thing a bit off was the "bonus" XML Parser sections. As they were noted as bonus and not relevant to my purpose, I initially skipped them, but that caused issues as they were included in the final quiz. Typically, anything "bonus" is assumed to be optional.

Love this class. Each lecture is short but to the point where we need to learn. The instructor shows step by step for each line of coding and well explained. The quizzes after each lecture and the final quiz help refresh everything learned. Thank you!

This course is the best about xml that i have ever found online even if you have absolutely no idea of xml, but the last few topics deals extensively with Java so you need to have a Java knowledge, due to this i subscribed for java course but its very hard to understand the instructor and make me wonder if its from the same person as a beginner with no programming background.

The course journey was absolutely amazing... Enjoyed learning.. Highly recommended for those who are looking for course on XML and XML schema definition. NOTE: This course would be helpful if you are planning to purchase instructors Web Services(part 1 and part 2) course.

Really good refresh course !!! The instructor teaches in an organized and understandable way. Unfortunately the opportunities to practice the presented material are insufficient . Additionally for someone with no Java experience the parsers implementations will be hard to follow.

One of the best course(s) and the best instructor on Udemy, IMHO. If you put the time/work in and follow his great instruction, you are well on your way to learning XML. I look forward to signing up for more of his course offerings. Very well done!

Plenty of good material. Methodical teaching. Lots of examples. Could use little more thorough top-down view of the terminology in the beginning of the course, i.e. what is namespace and how it is used. It is mentioned at the beginning, but not really explained well. One comment on the course. Before taking this course, I had very little experience with xml and no experience with java. The first part of the course explains xml very well and is easy to follow. It seems like the second part, starting with xml parsers, assumes that you have considerable java experience. Thus, it was difficult to follow. It would be nice if the second part assumes no java experience, and explains the content from a more rudimentary perspective.
