The start is good, but it’s extremely superficial. Under normal circumstances, you wouldn’t expect 3-minute videos anyway, but they lack depth. Explaining topics this way is a bit odd because I think it goes against the logic of programming. Second, I think the instructor jumped from topic to topic because they felt the course was too short. This created some confusion. It’s a good course, but you should watch it without wasting too much time. Since it’s so superficial, skip the two unnecessary sections without trying the exercises and get the necessary materials from other courses.

This course was very good and easy to understand. It clearly explains the features that Maven offers. The final questionnaire is very useful for reviewing the topics in depth. I especially liked that each concept is explained with examples — this made the learning experience very effective. Many thanks to Bharath, and best regards!

I was expecting a bit more depth on maven topics, and not so much on spring boot or jenkins. The course is not bad to have a little taste, but maven has a lot more to offer that is not covered in this course. Still, I appreciate the effort to make these lessons possible.

It’s a crash course and not specialization on subject matter and that’s what you cover. It was fun from beginning to till section 10 Profiles. After that it started to involve other independent technologies like Sonar, Jenkins, AWS etc. Section 11 onwards, power of Maven and its real world capabilities you introduced. Overall its very informative. As a suggestion, it will be helpful if you can also add some videos on how to imports real world maven projects and try to remove all the issues.

Outstanding Maven crash course that will get you up to speed with maven build tool. I've learned how to read pom.xml file and how to manage dependencies, plugins, create mutli-module project and even how to deploy artifact onto dockerized local repo and much more, AMAZING!!! Excellent course with on to the point explanations of each subject. Hands down 5/5 looking forward to take more DevOps and Spring related courses. Thank you sir, for your knowledge sharing

good, was expecting more on multi module projects creation like a project with some two or three modules out of which should be som EAR or WAR module where we should be having the final artifact generated when we run the project which is most common way of creating multi module projects. and also in the begining of the bonus lecture of jenkins can hear as you'll be showing the creation of pipeline but that part is not there here which is little disappointed as you said that it'll be covered in the begining video of the bonus sectiong. but finally, yes i got a good knowledge on this course about maven and also about spring boot importance and basic concepts and jenkins. thanks for the bonus classes.

This course is on maven. But there is lots of things on to create a spring project with maven. For my point of view there should be less focus on to create a spring project. Focus should be on maven. There is nothing on mvn phases and parameters. I think there shold be a small lecture on these topics.

By Sunitha Bhakthavatsalam on 10/4/2018

Developing end to end product application using Maven and Spring was very interactive and great learning. It was not boring like other lectures :) because lot of programing was included. Assignment was good too, it would have helped if you had provided sample code to refer for assignment as well.

By Dot business on 1/7/2018

Bharath is an AMAZING instructor, I have him to thank for contributing to my future. He teaches in a way that I can refer to quickly and get back up to speed. Definitely worth referring. No waffle or showing off just to the point clean explanation. He explains how code should be....CLEAN. Well Done Bharath :-)
