Some of the postures would more much more clear with either multiple drawings or a short video of somebody doing the posture . I really dont think that downloading a set of slides counts as a section - no actual teaching done there. And the downloads could be more useful if they were more like charts - simple to print out and actually put on my mirrors. My main takeaway is that I really should take an in-person class to ensure I am working towards the proper technique. But I did learn more about poses and basics of yoga. Without that I would have given this course a lower rating.

The concept of Yoga was totally new to me before I embarked on this course...as I was also studying Meditation and Mindfulness, Yoga was a perfect partner and fitted in ways I could not have imagined! Thank you Libby for creating this course for beginners as there are many others which cater mainly for those who have some knowledge, so a good grounding if like me you are not very knowledgeable on the subject.

the course is very basic . I think that some updates could be used to keep the learner safer in the real life yoga classes. my suggestions: .Modifications for beginners to reduce risk of injury .intro to poses in all posture.....seated, standing, prone, lying, etc. . some intro to sanskrit names of poses .an intro yoga class video Thank you

I really liked this course as it was in-depth. Libby made sure to cover the background of Yoga so that beginners are fully aware of how the exercises can be essential and beneficial. Not only is it helpful to your physical health, but it is also important for your mental health. I was hoping to follow the course in the duration of each exercise and was not expecting the pace. Some of the exercises go from position-to-position and give you either very limited time before moving onto the next position or not enough time to practice on the other side. What would've been better for me was if there was a section where the different exercises and classes were practiced in real-time. However, that is not to say that this discourages me. I will continue to practice and incorporate Yoga into my daily activities. Especially, the sun salutations.

Really enjoyed the course, which was clearly explained and nicely paced. I found the course stimulating and informative, I have done a number of on-line courses and this is my favourite company / organisation. As a result I have since signed up for a number of courses, I love studying and teaching, these courses could be addictive .. great fun though .. knowledge is power ... i highly recommend these courses. Thank you.

This course was helpful to me in many ways. I like the slower pace, the instructor's voice is clear and pleasant. The slides are legible with amusing images at times. Took one star off for the lack of a real person showing us how to get into, hold and release each pose. The shadow images didn't always show the exact placement of limbs and at times the instructor's explanation seemed to be a little different from what I thought I was seeing in the shadow pose. Just think a video would show no disparity. I'm glad I took the course and it did motivate me to finally get my mat out and begin the practice of yoga. Thank you!

I'm sorry, but this course is as good as getting a book about yoga. I was hoping to watch videos of the pratices, not black profiles with the poses. Sorry.

Yoga is not something that I thought would interest me, but having recently completed a Sports Massage course I noted that I was more and more using simple moves to enhance my posture and flexibility to carry out successful treatments without adversely affecting my own well being, I have also introduced clients to yoga classes to help them successfully regain their own well being so thought it about time that I understood Yoga in more detail. Since completing the course I have decided to look at teaching myself so all I can now do is to thank Libby for the incite fullness of the course content to put me onto another learning path.

I was unstoppable till the end, working with libby in this yoga course was like a media classroom.with lectures, excercises, practicals that i could do straight away in my own lounge room, its terrific because they are interactive. Rather than a "one size fits all" single routine this course offers choice, allowing the user to customize and change their yoga practice to suit their needs and own style. This is my first yoga experience in my life, and it never let me down.i found it fascinating, its cool, fun, exciting, and of course libbys humorous video characters made it all a great experience.if youve never tried yoga try it, its full of choices for your routine.i loved it. Thankyou.

I have done maybe 3 yoga classes in my entire life and have never really understood the importance of correctly carrying out yoga moves. So it was a good surprise that I would learn the importance of even the most basic moves such as the corpse pose. Another good thiing was the attention to the importance of breathing correctly which i hadnt really thought much about until now :-)
