Phil's courses are top shelf. Love how he gives a peek of his early work...you can see he started out rough...and yet, was still teaching how to make vids. Some would call that unqualified. I call BS. I would say it shows he had vision from the get go. He DID IT ANYWAY...something we all should do. Good job Phil and thanks for making something of value.

This course has been excellent! I initially bought it to make YouTube videos, but it has expanded my horizons. I still want to make videos, but this has my mind thinking SO MUCH larger now. I've had jobs for the last 20+ years, but thanks to this course I truly believe I have found a career. The crystal clear training & editing directions have editing on my mind non-stop. Thank you!

I really liked this course! It really gave the basics and most important information about videomaking and video editing! I also loved the very detailed explainations on how to use the different softwares. I also really appreciated the tips and suggestions on recording gear. I definitely reccomend this course!

These courses are the best things to happen to learning. I am never disappointed with these courses. They have everything I need to help with learning all these complicated topics and they make it simple and enjoyable to learn!

It has so far been very easy to grasp and use. I had read about OBS but could not dare to use, because I have limited technical knowledge. But now I understand the basics and I am simultaneously doing practical as well. So, it is making understanding the whole thing very easy and fun for me.

Many lectures were so busy and outdated they were hard to follow. I stopped taking this course after I finished about 10% of it. I've always tried to come back. But I couldn't. It was just overwhelming. My suggestions to people considering taking this course is watch at least all previews and see if you really like their styles of teaching and if you are ready to overcome unexpected problems mostly by yourself.

This is one of the best courses I've ever taken on Udemy. It's unbelievably practical and clear. Learning a new software usually feels like a really daunting task, but these guys explain the whole process of using Shotcut and OBS in a way that's very friendly and straightforward. I almost feel bad for buying this course at the discounted price! It's well worth the money.

If you're looking for a comprehensive guide to video/audio production at home as an absolute beginner, look no further. Phil, Tomas, and Ian have created a highly professional and practical series of videos that are both easy to follow and yet with substance. If you're entirely clueless but highly motivated to learn about producing videos for any kind of online content, you will learn a great deal here. Here's what I personally found the most useful: 1. Proper settings for OBS Recording/Streaming 2. Basic knowledge to Mixing Audio in General and in software 3. Lighting tips and recording equipment 4. Basic camera settings knowledge (ISO, shutter speed, F-stop...) Will this course be the start and end of your learning journey? Certainly not. But damn is it a good foundation. Can you learn everything that's presented in this course for free on the internet or from knowledgeable friends/family? Probably. But if you value your time and time is of the essence, buying a curated course like this is worth the price.

So far I have learnt a lot from this course. irrespective of my lack of previous knowledge I have been able to vividly understand the content of the course which makes it a great choice for anyone who wishes for the course. On my own side, I truly do recommend this course. Most importantly. for the DMM platform I want to say thank you.

The timing was serendipitous as my wife was just recruited to teach for an international online school.
