I am still watching the course, but it seems good and useful. It's kind of a course that you might need to really get to know different Java concepts at some level. Of course you won't immediately use everything from the course, it depends on your domain or practical goal, but you will at least know that such thing exists.

It get's the job done. You will be able to code Java after this course. How well that remains to be seen and propably also depends on how experienced you are in coding in general. Some topics are explained in great detail (sometimes unnecessarily so) and others are merely glossed over where more depth would have been welcome. This part is mostly for the instructor: It could need a little more polishing especially the part about generics as it basically ends on a cliffhanger (and mind you these are recorded sessions so there really is no need that it is the way it is). Other times it looks like you couldn't be bothered to edit the video to a final state, leaving in recording mistakes etc. There is an overreliance on allegories and sometimes they don't make too much sense, especially if there is a real life example from which the digital counterpart is derived of. Also sometimes the same thing is explained with almost the same allegory three times in a row. The end of the video section is rather abrupt almost like you simply wanted to get the course to the finish line. Nevertheless I am very aware that making a course like this takes a lot of time and effort and I always aprecaite when people like you go the extra mile. Thank you! :)

very thorough course. Starts from absolute beginner level UpTo to the more advanced level. Denis is very good at teaching all the concepts and as a matter of fact all German teachers are quite exceptional at teaching. Excellent course.

While these first lessons are the background, and it is running through stuff that I have learned about already, I like how he presents the lesson and the development for the future. Following the JavaFX lesson was a struggle because the current version of the IDE the instructor was using doesn't have its JavaFX plugin available due to a bug and there were no instructions on alternatives. It took diving into the Internet to find the solution. In spite of this, I was able to follow the lesson well enough, and I feel like I can continue without issue.

It's okay for beginner. However, for an intemidiate level, it's not clear and deep enough, so you have to figure it out by yourself. By the way, the projects are so beneficial for practicing and futher studying.

Love the pace of the course and the fact that even non-programmers would be able to relate to it easily without much prior knowledge required. The structure of the course is also well planned so that it can actually be paced at one module a day, as mentioned in the course content.

After making it through about half of the course, I was disappointed in that the major topics were not isolated from others. That is to say, I wanted to skip JavaFX sections and go to web development. But, they all build on each other and apparently at some point prior to the web apps section, the IDE was changed. This is not helpful. Each major topic should stand alone.

Top tier Java course. Great pace and you get enough resources where necessary. I love how from beginning of the course to the end it builds up on the previous lessons. Huge plus for the attention to JavaFX.

I highly recommend this course for anyone looking to deepen their knowledge and develop practical skills. The material is well-structured, the explanations are clear, and the balance between theory and hands-on practice makes it both engaging and effective. The course provides valuable insights that can be applied immediately, and I found it to be an excellent investment in my learning and professional growth.
