Great content! As of 2026, this is one of the most advanced hardware and PCB design courses available on Udemy. I would really appreciate more courses like this, especially an updated version or a complete SOM/COM board design project based on a modern processor such as the NXP i.MX 8M Plus.

This course covers all advance Components Integration layouts in depth good amount of information from Spec to HW design, layout routing. Really enjoyed this course! The content was well-structured, easy to follow, and packed with useful insights. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to learn. Thank you for your full high speed tracks and other layout option. This course is amazing.

The course is almost the same as the previous System-on-Module course. The course is good for people new to advanced PCB design. It explains more things than the previous course, but the content is almost the same and the processor is the same one. The difference with this course and the previous one, is that, the teacher even though he takes the design from an open-source board, he makes his own design rather than following the exact same design of the original board. The teacher has a good level of English and has a good accent, you can comprehend his very well, he is good explaining stuff. In this course, even though new interfaces are used like the ones for cameras and screens, you get the same answer, to review the docs of the components and the standards, I would've liked to see more on the routing of such components and a more in-depth explanation of them. The good thing is that the content of the length matching, DDR routing and power planes is refreshed, especially for power planes, we actually see some connections to such planes and more of an explanation, because, in the first course they were only mentioned in a very superficial way rather than going a little bit in-depth. I am comparing this course against the first one because this course is supposed to be a master-class of the first one. If someone sees this, buy this course rather than the first one, because you'll get the same info, but this one has more information. Thanks for the teacher for this course.

I don't recommend this course, not worth of money & time. This course is just a recording of a Google meeting and there is no proper connectivity between the videos, till 25% of the course you will be looking only at the datasheet of a single processor and suddenly in the next video, he will directly jump into the schematic design without any introduction to how to use the tools... lacks connectivity between topic to topic and too much disturbance in between the videos. I have too much regret about this course. Don't Purchase this Course.
