Course Description
A Verifiable Certificate of Completion is presented to all students who undertake this course.
This Advanced Microsoft Access 2010 Tutorial Video picks up where the InfiniteSkills beginner course leaves off and shows how to work with some of the program's more robust database creation and management features. Presented by a professional IT trainer, the video lessons go point by point through advanced query options and form design, as well as a number of shortcuts and productivity options that can simplify and shift the way you work. Given the advanced subject matter, the order of the Access course is logical and easy to follow. The earliest lessons focus on advanced table design with indexing and input masks. The course shows how to create advanced queries using joins, unions, and sub queries, going step by step where things get complex. Lessons on advanced form design and reporting will allow you to better manage and display your data, and the course's full chapter on Macros make it easy to manage and access data in Access 2010. Project files are included to match the examples onscreen.

Because Guy is a terrific instructor. He explains what he's doing very well and even I can understand what he's talking about. He doesn't rush you thru the lesson nor does he seem to presume that you shoulld know something about what he's teaching. I'm very happy with his work and commend him to anyone looking to take his lesssons.

Detailed in some ways but still a lot of unanswered questions. Some things were just mentioned that are very important. It is a worthwhile course, however with much information. I would like to have seen a very simple "start to finish" database construction at the end that we could build together to answer some of the questions.

I have been using MS Access for many years, but learned many tips and tricks with this course. The instructor is very clear and thorough, and the examples are all relevant. The hands on feel of the videos makes it easy to watch a section, and then try it out on your computer.

Great course! Really went into a lot of areas that I didn't realise about Access. I was using Access 2013 but this didn't stop me from using this course and the supplied files. Before starting the course, I considered myself pretty adept at Access and this course really helped fill in any gaps. Cheers!!

Instructions are easy to follow and examples are accessible. This was my second Access class from Guy Vaccaro and Infinite Skills after Microsoft Access 2010 - Learn at Your Own Pace. With these two classes, over a span of 2 months I had abandoned the Access Task Manager template database and built my own Access database app to my own specifications to track work requests and product changes. I was able to incorporate features suggested by my manager as well. I highly recommend Guy's classes.

I have heard a lot from Guy's teaching. His training was clear and concise, with easy to follow videos. I liked the fact he provided both unfinished & finished databases, so that the user can practice. I have read from stuff about the SQL setup from blog posts but he has explained it very well.

Excellent class! Even as an experienced advanced Access developer, my skills were getting a little stale, and the course really assisted me with brushing up on my old, unused skills, as well as learning some great new skills. I can't wait to use some of the tips and tricks I learned to improve some of my existing applications! The material covered, the samples used and the general flow and tenor of this course was very user-friendly and thorough and kept me interested. And I didn't get sleepy or bored taking it! :) Kudos to the very knowledgeable trainer and udemy!

This course covered basically everything I was hoping it would and it did it in a very well thought out way. I like that they include before and after databases for each chapter, so you can see how it should look at the end of the chapter if you have something that isn't quite working.

I've been using very badly designed (not by me!) Access db and wanting to change it for a very long time. This course made me understand Access a lot better than reading through written manuals and reference books and gave me clearer idea on how I go about tackling the redesign of current database. :)
