This course clearly teaches the hand shapes for sign language. It begins with the basics, and quickly moves into sentences. I am getting a lot of knowledge out of the course.

Yes its a good match for me. I have some experience with short term ASL classes before but never was the history explained in this way. Love the slow, and simply presented signs and the review at the end of each segment. It's allowing me to make notations.

I liked how easy the instructor was to learn from. I also like the fact that I could go back as many times as I need to, to understand the hand positions and actually get how to do each sign. This is a great course for someone like me who has never done sign language before. Having him explain the signs and ways to remember them was also very helpful

Excellent match - love hearing the history and background. This is a fun class! One suggestion - on some of the signs the camera should be further away so we can see above your head and below your waist. I am really enjoying this.
