Apache Flink is the successor to Hadoop and Spark. It is the next generation Big data engine for Stream processing. If Hadoop is 2G, Spark is 3G then Apache Flink is the 4G in Big data stream processing frameworks. In essence it's a good course.
But it would have been excellent if the code were up to date. A lot of examples don't work, or it's just me.
If you write code for a course, make sure nothing is deprecated; because after a year or two it may fail altogether.
Since the code is 2 years old a lot of examples, when implemented now, are filled with deprecations. I don't think this is the best way.
Installation only explained on Linux.
Finally; I do recommend this course! It is well worth it. But it should've been made up-to-date

I'll try to be not so negative. It was what I needed and I learned a few things but also some other things I'll leave feedback just as constructive as I can.
In general I did not mind the investment/time I spent on the course.
Here is the things I would have done different or would like a bit better:
I really don't like when I see a lot of projects/courses still relying on maven over gradle...
I do not understand this dependency on Linux VM or something like that. If this is needed we can rely on WSL 2.0 or just use any of the cloud providers for setting up environments.
It would be really nice to use github, gitlab or something like that to store the code.
I'm a bit pedantic but reading all that code without proper indentation really makes my eyes hurt

The codes in Section 3 and 4 could have be explained in a better with an example of real time use case. Apart from this, I personally felt that the the code could have been written on the go instead of directly showing the already coded part. That could have made it excellent.

it was below my expectation, tutor does not have enough java language and command line skills so it bloated content with irrelevant stuff. so it was hard to follow.
