This course is great ONLY if you already have basic experience with R . You don't have to be a pro, but an idea would be great. This course will not explain concepts, it will just tell you why they are selecting a particular method. This course is great if you want some projects in your portfolio or some experience working with R and time series plots.

I love this class. Its easy to follow along, I did not take the fundamental Class of the teacher but it was still easy to follow along with him and he took time to explain simple concepts like Variance, seasonality and so on. This course is helping me on a time series project I have on Forecasting the Prices of Cryptocurrency. Buy this one, you wont regret it.

I like that this course is mainly illustrated through three or four real world applications. I can use this on my work. I had also left a stellar review of this instructor's other R course on cleaning data. This new course on forecasting is consistent with the high quality of the previous course that I did.

This course is good for time series case study, but tutor should consider few project using facebook excellent library "prophet", it has very nice features such as holidays, custom events and many more ... any forecasting course is not finish without exposure to this excellent library !!!!

The course is a very good explanation of the various models used in Time Series Analysis. It covers topics like fixing stock data to find patterns. It is very practical and application-oriented. It is exactly the reason why I purchased this class and it met my objectives in purchasing this class. Very useful info!

I am really enjoying the practical nature of this course and the fact that we are given the chance to solve the problem ourselves before the solution is provided. Another really great feature is the co-mingling of the explanation of the forecasting models with the actual techniques. I have actually coded these model solutions for use in industry in archaic COBOL programs. I am truly amazed at the flexibility available to us today with the 'forecast' library in R. In the Stone Age days, 1960's and 1970's, we had the textbooks with formulae and punch cards. We coded the algorithms and checked them hand. Late in my career I programmed an R forecasting algorithm for commercial use in a software package that my consulting firm used. This course is review for me, but still WONDERFULLY done!

Following the previous comment, it would be good to have a constant updating of the feasibility of the tools. That is, checking that indeed the task could be done. Other than the difficulty of downloading data, just mid course after a Windows 10 update, and for some reason, Rstudio ceased working. I have to restart everything on a Linux machine. On the good side, the instructor made an outstanding effort to convey a clear and concise course. There were no extra words, the slides were thoughtfully designed and matched the dialog perfectly. As far as on line learning resources, this is the best I have seen. Excellent job. Also this was a good introductory window to the tools that R has. This was a discovery for me and a very good one. I cannot put a 5 due to the scrapping difficulties, but highly recommended.

Gostei muito do formato do curso, explicando passo a passo os códigos, a parte teórica, apontando as limitações dos modelos e como aplica-los no mundo real. Prático sem perder a essência da teoria. Nota 10 para o professor. Ideal para quem tem um nível de inglês intermediário e já conhece um pouco sobre modelos estatísticos
