R Shiny Interactive Web Apps - Next Level Data Visualization (Udemy.com)

Quick and dirty, not so much fuss, gets around the essentials. The course is old though, I guess a lot has happened the last 5 years. Where is the mention of the shinydashboard? I would also have liked a lot to hear how to structure a large Shiny project, with several (layers of) tabs and lots of server-side calculations going on. Maybe it was time for some R-wizzard to make an updated version? I guess that would be some easy money made ;-)

At the very beginning, the instructor mentioned this course is not for New R User. However, after taking three sections, I feel they should say it is not for NEW Shiny User to learn how to use shiny. Lots of useful information is included, but not detailed. It is kind of high level introduction.

It was a good course with good examples and systematic ideas and concepts. The problem I had is that the course project seemed to try and incorporate everything covered in the course at once. Which is obviously the point of an applied example, but I would have preferred to break it up piece by piece and perhaps build the code for the example at the end of the various sections. Overall good value and helpful.

This course does not cover Basics. it is for people who have prior intermediatary level knowledge of R shiny .

I would prefer more interactivity and exercises the whole way through

Very good course. I really liked it. Deep and simple introduction to shiny app. I learned all I need to keep learning by myself. All the units were brief and helpful. The only reason I did not give 5 stars, it because it could have been a bit longer. But at the same time the course covers everything you need to start in a few hours.

Buying this course is waste of money. This once we can learn from R documentation. It didn't reach my expectation.

For someone who just learned about Shiny R and wants to bang one out quickly this course is a good fit. It's covering all the critical info and isn't dwelling long on any topic that's isn't of interest to me.
