I just love the clear concise explanation, and real world experience on developing applications, Great examples to show the many coding possibilities available for both the front end GUI and backend handling with database and middle tier coding

First of all, thanks Bhrugen for this great course. I am getting excited the further I go in this course. However , there is a little comment from my end that could be an improvement. That will be, it will be better if there are more concept explanation on certain framework package, for eg. session get and set. I agree that we as the student will do a little bit of reading on the documentation but it will be clearer and easier for us to follow is there is a little bit explanation on why the code is written in such way. Overall , this is really a good course and I am loving it.

Very detailed explanation for the beginners. I loved follow along with the videos. Apart from email implementation everything is really easy to follow. Might need more work for stuff like Emails for the people like me or beginners.

This is a good course and I learned a lot. I have two problems with the course: 1- The content should be updated: In email section the code does not work with the new mailjet version. 2- For the most part, the course covers only one way of implementing without providing enough detail why the instructor chose this method while there could be other ways.

Excellent course! The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the instructor needs to add some notes on how to solve the Section 6's issue. What happens: Once you install the dependencies you get exceptions because there's another POCO with the exact same name and logic. How did I solve it? 1. Go to Startup.cs and copy the following like: services.AddDefaultIdentity ().AddEntityFrameworkStores (); 2. Comment it out / delete said line 3. Go to Areas > Identity > IdentityHostingStartup.cs 4. Paste the line you just copied/erased there. 5. Erase/Comment out Data > ApplicationDbContext. That's how I solved it. Think you can actually paste the contents from ApplicationDbContext to IdentityHostingStartup.cs but since you're not going to be using that after that, you can omit it. I apologize in advance if I forget something, just make sure to have those files in your radar. Good Luck!

There's a lot of good content here, but not enough to warrant the price it is listed at, not to mention splitting such a small course in two parts is almost predatory in nature. The concepts around ASP.NET are kind of just bypassed at some point. It feels like early on it was a lot of theory, but later on some things were hardly touched on and we just found ourselves writing down code. Granted, things like authorization and other data annotations are not hard to grasp, but it would be good to at least address what we are doing. With what knowledge of C# I already have, I can definitely tell best practices were not always followed, and repeated code and the naming of variables and classes made things more confusing than they had to be. Given what little material there is to work with, this is not a bad course by comparison. But the knowledge you gain from the course if you really are a beginner to ASP.NET Core is minimal and shallow. If you intend to use this to create your own applications, you will probably have to copy entire chunks of it as reference, because you will not remember how exactly to work with UserRoles and what to take into account when working with Identities, which is a concept that really should have warranted further theory lessons.

This is an excellent beginner course to ASP.NET Core MVC with Entity Framework. The instructor is amazing! He explains everything very well. I completed the course and learnt so much, I am now on to the part 2 and his Blazor course.

Everything is explained where you can understand as a beginner. A lot of tutorials are hard to follow but this one is not. This is great for those who started off with just ASP.Net and moving to ASP.Net Core. After this course, you will be able to branch off on yourself and build many web applications for yourself or clients after this course. As I continue to progress through this course it just gets better and better. Need more courses!!!

This was an amazing course. I very much enjoy the very thorough explanations of all of the tools needed. Very easy to understand and I have learned a lot of both ASP.NET, MVC, and Visual Studio. Highly recommended.

I find the author's method of teaching with real-world examples is highly effective. I like that he even has the student integrate a third party API into the project. A really good value at any price if you are new to MVC or need a refresher if you are coming from an older version.
