WebdriverIO 2026: Selenium-Based E2E Testing + Cucumber BDD (Udemy.com)

The course was good and contained a lot of valuable information. However, there were a few things I felt were missing: 1. There were not many practical tests or hands-on assignments. While it’s possible to code along with the videos and pause to try things independently, having dedicated practical tasks with solutions would add a lot of value. 2. I would have appreciated having practice materials, links, and resources directly linked to each lecture. At times, I had to pause the video and manually rewrite URLs because I couldn’t find them linked anywhere (I checked all available sections, so this may not have been obvious). 3. I would have liked a bit more coverage of WebdriverIO architectural best practices. Overall, the course is good and provides a solid understanding of how WebdriverIO works.

The instruction was to the point and concise but also gives lots of examples. I also like that topics are divided into smaller sections. I also like how the instructor explained and picked topics that are popular, important and useful for testing professionals.

Muy bueno como introduccion, podria agregar un segundo curso con mas ejemplos y problemas cotidianos como scroll para encontrar elementos, tomarle capturas de pantallas, etc

Pros: -Clear and easy to understand course content -Short and clear videos helps focusing in the content -Works for people with limited knowledge on Automation Cons -Some course videos are outdated and should be updated. An example of this can be the initial setup -Course has some structure problems (For example duplicated videos at the end) -Even though the course is getting updated, the updates were not reachable when I finished this course (07/13/2021). This may be an Udemy-Side Problem

Course is on a pretty basic level, not much advance stuff. Also a little bit messy when course not following the same project. A lot of sections with "coming up next" but never seems to be added. Instructor doesnt seem to answer any questions. I posted a question a week back but never got an reply

I finished the course and it was outstanding. The amount of content is fantastic.. --So far the videos are short and to the point. This is very good so far. BTW your English is very understandable, and your cadence is great.

Never replied to you questions when you need help, ive messaged him and also never got a response, I deleted my previous review to see maybe he would help, but he only called me a liar on my last review. I've contacted udemy customer support and reported a claim and will also ask for a full refund .
