After completing this course, I can say that it teaches you a lot of great concepts for creating an Automation Framework and it is definitely for advanced users. If you are new to C# or automation testing, you will find this course difficult and possibly overwhelming. Having said that, after reaching around 40% course completion, you begin to start writing code that has been deemed deprecated which is fixed in later sections. Because of this, I found myself going up and down course sections which reminded me of spaghetti code in concept just so that my code can work and I can follow on. Towards the end of the course, he started using a selenium grid to run tests and the setup for it was not explained/covered. I had to google how to set it up which was not hard to do but if I am paying for a course, I would expect it to be covered rather than assume it is an easy task for me to google. Some things in this course should be removed (by the instructor)/skipped (by the student) such as setting up the website IIS and database as the instructor, later on, advises to use a hosted website for testing making this part of the course redundant. Some ways to improve this course is to redesign it so that the student creates a .Net Core project from the start of the course rather than the last section of the whole course as some covered concepts (App Settings/Configuration, NUnit/MSTest, etc) are then retaught again to suit .Net Core, making initial learnings redundant. This was quite disappointing as the energy invested in learning some of the earlier covered concepts in .Net Framework was for waste when migrated to .Net Core. As a result of all the issues encountered, you will find yourself debugging a lot of what is being covered and I urge you to not give up and understand that nothing is perfect. It is your motivation to learn and be better that will get you through this and remember that Google will always be by your side if you ever need help. Also, the course QnA section is helpful as they ask about the issues that you probably would encounter. Good luck to everyone and all the best.

Good teacher, but overdue in the tutorial, Added unnecessary controls to the framework and making it more complex to be used. The complete framework is only for Remote webdriver, not everyone would need remote webdriver. The framework would be require refractor often due to the unnecessary controls that being added to it. Framework should be robust,not complex and easy to maintenance, you do not need to show your programming skills to make the framework more complex. Also the framework only contain just the basic report, this is the area that is very important in framework.

Great course! I wish I could have seen this course when I started my career. It would be nice if we could get the whole course updated to .net core. Sometimes it's a bit tricky to solve the issues related to old .net framework. Even though, it's completely worth to watch this course.

Although at first this course was not what I was expecting, my daily work activities pushed me to research and double check several things on Selenium with C# and Specflow, specially when it came to the use of Hooks, so this course became particurlarly useful and reliable.

The original course is outdated with some patches for the latest version of .net core. There are many missing project files.
