Excellent course. Initially I had some trouble with finding the right version of IntelliJ that worked. I started with IntelliJ IDEA 2016, as shown at the beginning of course, but had to update to IntelliJ IDEA 2019 for things to work. I also installed JAVA 8 (1.8), so that may have had something to do with my issues. I almost gave up on the course due to errors with JUnit libraries, but after some trial, things worked and continued the course and finally finished it today. Today I jumped from Oracle Java 8 (1.8) to updated to OpenJava 11 and needed to update few places for things to work right. Perhaps there can be an addendum added to course at the beginning for new user setup with correct versions of everything.

It was an excellent, fluent, and gradual introduction to the BDD world. As a Java Developer I found it extremely useful, especially because I feel I can immediately apply the knowledge to create my own tests, even having learning only the basics. I mean, immediately. To be honest, given the quality of the course I'm pretty sure I won't need to go deeper on the topics to develop effective tests suitable to my needs. I'm sure that the QA team will appreciate the fact that they will receive a system that already had been minimally tested by the developers. I also believe that this is a way to not waste the precious time of the QA team in basic stuff, when they have several complex test to work on. I've seen the devastating effects of this kind of wasting-time-task in big projects. Not good. Thank you for making the course freely available!

One should watch free video tutorials of Mukesh otwani or Naveen khunteta before purchasing course here as masters or teachers can be like this - unimaginable. I was learning this course 6 months ago and asked question to trainer but no response. I missed sending reminder and was involved in other stuffs but still not response. After sending him email he is unable to come up with a solution. How come Rahul shetty, Anshul are so prompt in responses and well as so dedicated to help all students with complete effort. This gives aa feel of interest to learn.....However i am not complaining but sharing my experience of the truth that five fingers are not same as proved here. ======================= well now again i am going thru his tutorial after gaining experience in BDD Cucumber selenium framework and finding it easy and good... Earlier i was unknown of this and therefore was not able to understand few things therefore raised an issue.

I had 2 problems that I never figured out. 1. The Assert did not work for me in the passing or failing test. 2. I was never able to generate reports from within IntelliJ (JSON, HTML). I could generate reports via command line. Suggestions: - I would like to be able to see the correct code for each lecture. - Don't assume everyone is on Windows.

Audio is very feeble and I cannot hear clearly. Sub titles for the audio have a lot of errors. Reading the sub titles leads to confusion as it does not match the audio or text spoken. Sites where the softwares can be downloaded and the versions to be downloaded is not indicated and it is assumed that the user will download the software on his own. It would be better to indicate the download site along with the software version to avoid version issues while running various programs. I am having problems making the code work to open the browser (firefox) due to maybe firefox version issues. It is not clear which version of firefox will be appropriate and I am trying to resolve this problem. On the plus side, the course helps one to understand the basics of cucumber and selenium.

The course is well organized and it was well presented by the instructor. To take this course, the person should have some basic knowledge of both Selenium and Java. It would be nice to see a reporting section which shows how to implement reporting with multiple features using the reporting described in part B. Otherwise, a great introductory course to learn from and to use as future reference.

I am very glad that I found this course and would say this is the BEST. Karthik's way of teaching is very good. He gives detailed explanation and also compares SpecFlow and Cucumber whenever required for better understanding and I get greater confidence that I will be able to master my skills with Cucumber with Java. I am going to proceed to Karthik's Advanced course now :-)

Very nice Introduction into Cucumber , Clear explanation but need more in depth winch is in the paid course, Surely I Will take it, Cons Sometimes it go fast especially in the configuration of the pom.xml file in the last course, and Why we did add those tags. Bottom line Nice course, Also Karthik is very Knowledgeable person and very good teacher

Very nice course. Each topic is explained in detail by giving practical examples. Karthik have a very clear understanding of the topics which he is explaining. A good course for beginner. Thanks Karthik for sharing your knowledge with us.

Concepts are good but it should be explained more on selenium. Intellji which is not freemium as compared to eclipse which is used mostly by automation test engineers. Unable to understand most of them clearly. Mostly compared with Specflow which is good for who already worked on it but it is difficult for others who are working on eclipse with java.
