I want to use Jenkins to kick off a build of a .Net app. The code is located in a Git repo. As part of the build, I want to run various things against the code (Sonarqube, Checkmarx, ) and then deploy it to one of multiple environments (Dev, Test, Qa, Prod) I'm working through the build script for this, but I'm new to Jenkins. So, in Udemy, I searched for "Jenkins build scripts" and this course came up first. I was anticipating learning about Jenkins build scripts, hopefully with a focus on .Net apps.
Started at the beginning and ended up skipping content. Installing, configuring Jenkins and what not. Went to Section 3 because it says "Working with Jenkins for .Net based applications". Nothing yet on Jenkins build scripts.
Perhaps it's because I'm new to Udemy and fairly new to Jenkins. Maybe if you ask me after I've skimmed through the course, seeing if it has what I need, I'll have a more positive response. :)
