Covered a lot of different examples. Couple things are out of date now like with the KeyPair ,the APIs have changed slightly. Would've preferred if we stuck with Python for the full course but it was a fun challenge to translate over. Also would've preferred seeing a use-case of not using a lambda layer but instead needing to bundle the python lambda with it's dependencies. Took me awhile to get there using aws-cdk-aws-lambda-python-alpha

This material is not intuitive; you need an instructor to walk you through these exercises. Also, Ilike when he shows the mistakes and corrects them, Thats VERY helpful. I am only half way through the course and amazed.

This course is very good, instructor was clear in explaining the concepts as well as walking it through with live coding. Though he did make some mistakes during coding, it was good though to know how to troubleshoot issues when we encounter errors. Overall good course to learn AWS CDK!

I always select courses by this instructor as they tend to be excellent. This course was good but not as good as his other courses. While I could follow everything and the examples were good, I was left with a feeling that I didn't "really" understand it. Having said that I do now understand the basics of CDK and have the foundations to start coding in using CDK and typescript.

This course covers all the necessary concepts to get started with CDK, I liked that most of the demos worked well, except for Lecture 43 which doesn't destroy the stack properly, the content and examples are good; but no response to my questions on the Q&A section nor to most of the open questions either.

The instructor is very clear in his points and speaks very clearly. The information is well laid out and easy to understand early on. Later steps are a bit more difficult to follow, as the 'why' of the code isn't really covered. Also the screen cuts-off the code a few times, which makes it hard to type along with the source. Having the source-code is invaluable in this regard. I would say it's more of a survey of CDK use-cases and is a great first step, as opposed to a master-class. I emerge from this course 'oriented'.
