Become a Calculus 2 Master (Udemy.com)

Krista King is an excellent instructor and breaks everything down into excellent detail. It has been more than a decade since I did any Calculus in the university, and now I'm teaching math, so not only is this a helpful refresher, but it helps with ideas for teaching the content. I took Calculus 1 with Krista King and loved it. Loving Calculus 2 so far. Can't wait to take more courses with her.

If you only need to know how to solve calc 2 problems, then this course is fine. However, if you truly want to understand how calc 2 works, buying this course would be a waste of time and money. The author relies solely on examples to explain everything and skips over many trivial explanations that you are forced to figure out yourself. Worse, magic formulas frequently appear out of nowhere without any explanation as to why they are needed or where they come from, you are simply expected to memorize and apply them. The course isn’t all bad, though. If you use an LLM alongside it to help you understand the underlying concepts, you can make good use of the material and finish the course much faster than other calc 2 courses on Udemy. Honestly, just read the notes, use an AI to clarify the concepts, and take the quizzes, and you’ll finish Calculus 2 in no time.

Integral Calculus is pretty difficult given that it has lengthy formulas and never-seen-before things (I mean it's quite different from Calculus one). However, Ms. King has made it as simple as possible. Still, I wouldn't expect myself to grasp the solution process for some topics (not the concepts) on the first try, but luckily that is not true for all the topics. What makes it interesting is its delivery in immaculate English and the authoritative style. I would highly recommend this course.

I enrolled in the "Become a Trigonometry & Precalculus Master" course on December 3, 2024, marking the beginning of my journey to refresh my math knowledge and skills. That course was everything I needed and more (I also left a review there at the time). It encouraged me to move forward and enroll in "Become a Calculus 1 Master" and "Become a Calculus 2 Master" without hesitation. I’ve since finished "Become a Calculus 1 Master" and just completed "Become a Calculus 2 Master." I’ve learned so much, and it’s been an incredible experience. Many thanks to Krista and Elizabeth for their hard work and commitment to these courses :) If you want to review your math and truly strengthen your understanding, start from the beginning: Trigonometry, then Precalculus, followed by Calculus 1, and finally Calculus 2. This step-by-step path will help you build a strong foundation and stay on track.

Krista has carried me through Calc 1, 2, & 3, linear algebra and differential equations. All excellent courses with very detailed explanations, thank you very much! I hope there are more upper level math/physics courses on the way. Also, as a middle/high school math teacher, her basics, algebra, geometry and pre-calc courses have been excellent resources at times for my students

I really really love every course that Krista has made because she really saves my math! I am pretty bad at math when I was a student, I only get basically C - D in my math grade at school. However, when I have gone through so many courses that was made by Krista like "Master the Fundamentals of Math", "Probability and Statistics", "Calculus I" and "Calculus II", I now become a little bit confident with math! Now, it is time for "Calculus III", thank you Krista!

This is an excellent continuation of the Calculus 1 course. Again, the supplied lecture notes are an amazing help and time saver for the student. One criticism I do have is, unlike in the previous course, there is not a perfect correspondence between the lecture notes and videos this time. There are materials covered in the lecture videos not found in the notes. However, I can imagine how time-consuming it must have been just to produce the notes we do have, so I am nonetheless grateful to the instructor for going the extra step and making the painstaking effort. I look forward to finishing my Calculus journey in the 3rd course with Krista!

Very good learning experience.

Krista's voice is mellow and easy to listen to for long periods of time. In addition, Krista has the ability to explain complex calculus concepts in a clear, succinct and easy-to-understand manner.
