Course Description
HOW BECOME A DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS MASTER IS SET UP TO MAKE COMPLICATED MATH EASY:
This 260-lesson course includes video and text explanations of everything from Differential Equations, and it includes 76 quizzes (with solutions!) and an additional 9 workbooks with extra practice problems, to help you test your understanding along the way. Become a Differential Equations Master is organized into the following sections:
First order equations, including linear, separable, and Bernoulli equations
Second order equations, including homogeneous and nonhomogeneous equations, undetermined coefficients, and variation of parameters
Modeling with differential equations, including Euler's method, the logistic equation, exponential growth and decay, electrical series, spring and mass systems
Series solutions, including power series solutions, nonpolynomial coefficients, and Frobenius' Theorem
Laplace transforms, including Laplace and inverse Laplace transforms, the Second Shifting Theorem, Dirac delta functions, and convolution integrals
Systems of differential equations, including solving systems with real and complex Eigenvalues, trajectories and phase portraits, and the matrix exponential
Higher order equations, including nonhomogeneous equations, their Laplace transforms, systems of higher order equations, and their series solutions
Fourier series, including periodic extensions, convergence of a Fourier series, Fourier cosine series and Fourier sine series, and piecewise functions
Partial differential equations, including separation of variables and boundary value problems, the heat equation, and Laplace's equation
AND HERE'S WHAT YOU GET INSIDE OF EVERY SECTION:
Videos: Watch over my shoulder as I solve problems for every single math issue you’ll encounter in class. We start from the beginning... I explain the problem setup and why I set it up that way, the steps I take and why I take them, how to work through the yucky, fuzzy middle parts, and how to simplify the answer when you get it.
Notes: The notes section of each lesson is where you find the most important things to remember. It’s like Cliff Notes for books, but for math. Everything you need to know to pass your class and nothing you don’t.
Quizzes: When you think you’ve got a good grasp on a topic within a course, you can test your knowledge by taking one of the quizzes. If you pass, great! If not, you can review the videos and notes again or ask for help in the Q&A section.
Workbooks: Want even more practice? When you've finished the section, you can review everything you've learned by working through the bonus workbook. The workbooks include tons of extra practice problems, so they're a great way to solidify what you just learned in that section.

Some people complain about her teaching the simple steps to thoroughly. I think this is actually a plus! Especially for those like me who dislike the Professor skipping steps. Krista doesn't skip steps. She thoroughly explains each process and the underlying theory. Her teaching style is helpful to those who need to improve Algebra skills while learning a complex class like ODE.

I just realized I didn't evaluate one of the best maths course I ever took. At first I was specifically interested in PDF equations, I knew it wasn't the main focus but decided to test the whole course as it contains Fourrier series and other chapters I never really learnt about. Honestly I'm happy I made that choice. Krista simplified this course very well and I think her teaching style would generate interest in maths to people who gave up on it. She was also available and always answered my multiple questions lol. Great course, well chunked and easy to digest ! I highly recommend her courses.

Amazingly comprehensive and well-taught course! Far superior to the DE class I took ~20 years ago at a good engineering college (that I won't name so as not to cause embarrassment). Loved the format with the lessons and all the pdf's, quizzes, and solutions! Looking forward to Krista's other courses, even the "easier" ones just to see how a great teacher explains the material. My goal is to self-study math and physics far beyond what I learned for my engineering degree, for now I'm brushing up on stuff I'll need to tackle those advanced topics. I hope Krista makes more of the math courses covering topics a math major/graduate student might take! Love her style of instruction!

I really enjoyed this course and learned many new things. You need to work hard if you want to watch all the videos and do the proposed exercises yourself, because there are many. This gives you a great opportunity to practice, to solidify concepts and to gain confidence. But, in the end, all this effort is worth it because you get a great reward. The course is organized into sections, each containing many videos, quizzes, and proposed exercises (with solutions). The instructor carefully explains the exercises she performs in the videos, after a brief theoretical introduction. The course also includes additional support material(written pdf's for each lesson and a book on formulas you are going to follow the course and so exercises). In short, the course is well worth it, but if you want to get the most out of it, you have to think about dedicating many hours of hard work. I also want to thank the instructor and their team (if she have one) for her effort and the clarity she put into their work. Thank you very much.

I am retired and took the course for my enjoyment, review, and to keep my mind busy. The course is presented very clearly. The course mathematical operations are presented very fast sometimes but since one can just back up the video as many times as needed it is not at all an issue with me. I learned some things I didn't know before and sometimes easier ways to get there. steve k

Krista has carried me through Calc 1, 2, & 3, linear algebra and differential equations. All excellent courses with very detailed explanations, thank you very much! I hope there are more upper level math/physics courses on the way. Also, as a middle/high school math teacher, her basics, algebra, geometry and pre-calc courses have been excellent resources at times for my students

I love when you say sub zero, it reminds me of a old good mortal kombat!!!, aww gossh i think im gonna play some mortal kombat 11 in a moment. And opinion about course? It is turbo good and i ve been doing tons of your practice problems the ones on udemy and from other sites ,i can quite well identyfy certain problems and find solutions

Course is really perfect! Everything is explained really well and in logical order. Only little minus for me personally, as a physicist I don't like that much of a engineering approach to all this. I like a bit more theory and why should we do something and all that stuff, but if you really want to learn just how to solve differential equations, this is really well done by Krista!

Longwinded and draggy lecture videos. The questions with tedious working steps in the quizzes can be moved to the workbooks as optional exercises.

This has been a very good course. I did not do all of it: as a tutor, I only need to cover first and second order differential equations and their applications. The course covers all of these. The best part of the course is on the applications. These I now really understand and that has made the course worthwhile.
