I had done a blues course previously, and this was a bit of knowledge consolidation for me

It's an excellent course to get introduced and interested into the Blues. There are only some aspects that, for me could be improved: 1. Henry doesn't answer Q&A anymore, or very rarely. 2. Since I completed other courses of his first, I am very much in a mindset where I try to understand why a chord is built that way and so on, now (in Chapter 6, Lesson 12) Henry uses some chords together that don't make sense with the explanation "You can do whatever you want", but I think there must be a (harmonic) reason why a Major/Minor/Major chord progression is used and to understand why this is used and what else can be experimented with, would have been helpful, for me at least. 3. I don't get the connection between Lesson 6 and Lesson 8 -Pentatonic Scale, I guess the Pentatonic scale can be used to filter out the notes that are used in blues, but in Lesson 6 this doesn't match with what it used, it is a bit difficul to understand the connection between chapters, if there is a connection. Ok, that's all the negative points I can muster, there is so much to learn in this course and the music has literally gone stuck in my head, so only half a star reduction.

Excellent course and instruction...step-by-step toward mastery of the material with very clear and concise description with each step along the way...have enjoyed and learned tremendously with each course I've taken with Henry and for older learners like myself his method of instruction makes it very easy to comprehend all the material...very comprehensive course...very highest recommendations!!!

Very clear explanations. Guitar is hard and frustrating to learn, and the only way to actually learn is to practice. I am still in Section 4, and have a ways to go. I am working through it and hope to go from knowing nothing about guitar or music theory to being able to play Blues, my favorite genre.

I have taken all the courses available by you. I am a dentist and my speciality is Orthodontist , I have literally no time to go to guitar school and learn as it clashes with my clinic schedule. Henry, I played guitar almost 30 years ago and decided with my early retirement to restart. I like blues and therefor a beginner course associated to blues caught my attention. I think the way you are guiding your students is matching very well my level of knowledge - I really enjoyed it.

This course is awesome! I tried to learn to play when I was younger never took proper lessons it was always a friend trying to teach me but I never really got it. I thought it was me, figured I'd never be able to play. Now I know what the real problem was I never had a good teacher, until now....

This is a great course for getting started with blues guitar or even just getting started with playing guitar at all. Henry tells you just enough about guitars, form, and some blues basics for you to get started quickly, he follows his music instruction segments with play-along segments that you can repeat for practice, and he does it all with a friendly, easy-to-follow style that encourages you to keep going, both through the course and afterward.
