Fun Beginner Ukulele Course (Udemy.com)

This definitely a VERY basic ukulele course. It's not bad at all, but I would like to see it having more details about the chords and progressions. Here are some notes: - It would be good to add an information about types of ukulele - In my opinion in lesson 7. C chord should be played with 3 finger because it makes more sense to the used chords progressions. - Lesson 9. The strumming pattern should be displayed with the counting information on the screen to easy to follow. The same is for Section 5 - Learning the song without the lyric and real example it's weird. - Lesson 25 doesn't explain Pattern 8 therefore it creates a shift in the titles 26. Pattern 8 27. Pattern 9 - There is no lesson for Pattern 10 - I wasn't able to find mentioned at the end of the course Bonus information. - It's useful to have the Chords pdf.

Henry Olsen has been an amazing teacher on the ukulele, and I have learned a lot from being an absolute beginner to getting all of the basics he has taught so patiently, efficiently and graciously. His playalongs have so so helpful for as a complete beginner. I hope he does more courses to take us from the beginner level to maybe the next level of beginner to apply what we have learned to actual song. Thank you so much Henry - great job!!! If you can ME to do this, you are a very good teacher - I am 74 years young!!!!!! :>)

73 year old beginner. Some music experience in grade school through high school band with woodwind instruments. Have difficulty in getting fingers properly on frets to establish clear sound. Looking forward to next classes. Still fighting the G chord transition.

Super helpful course. I didnt know how to play the ukulele or guitar. Im able to play the chords for so many songs now after the class, and with the chords chart provided in the lesson. The lesson itself is super fun as well.

it is at a satisfying pace and the play-alongs are really helpful. i can even tone my ukulele now. i'm happy :)

Easy to understand

It is a great course and the trainer is very good, too! Anyone can get something from it especially when it comes to strumming pattern and chord progression. Kudos!

everything is very clearly explained in the videos and the things are being taught in a proper and understandable order too.

Great course for beginners. I just wished the pdf had some more songs where we could use the same chords. Thanks for the course though. It helped me a lot. I learnt so many strumming patterns.
