The course is well structured and walks you through each aspect of creating a real world app. However, be aware that the course is fast paced, and it is easy to miss pieces of information. Also, be sure to watch the updated lecture for Azure in Section 3 to save yourself some time and potential headaches. Overall though, solid course that can teach you a lot about Xamarin Forms!

A very beginner friendly course! On many occasions there isn't too much of an explanation to not confuse you with unnecessary details. However, I am a full time software developer familiar with c++ but just basic knowledge of c# and xamarin - if you have a software background like I do, this course might be too easy for you. The application you will develop gives a good introduction into navigation pages and lists. I liked it a lot that it interacts with a webservice. Unfortunately errorhandling wasn't really covered but that topic might be so big it could fit into a separate course. The most challenging part was getting Azure to run properly. The provided application just returned a random JSON parse exception. Unfortunately the provided files didn't work out of the box as there was a missing database table. Only the comment section and some research on the web could help - that however makes it impossible to solve for beginners who seem to be the target group of this course. What I also just figured out by accident, as I'm also not familiar with ASP.NET yet, is that you can also run the webserver locally right out of Visual Studio as well. If you have some kind of local database running you don't need Azure at all. Maybe you could just write together a little guide on how to do that if someone doesn't want to use Azure to start. Sometimes it is a bit annoying that the recaps at the beginning of the videos feel almost as long as the video showing the whole content just earlier. That might make sense if you take a break after each single video but if you pull through them you feel like the course length is just artificially increased without any content. Maybe a content video of 2-3 minutes also doesn't need any recap at all.

Very good instructions and very informative way of explaining - first the raw setup without complicating things, then putting in the extras that make the app behave professional. Very good course.

simple and imformative. Wish they would update to VS 2019 and redo the course using the latest technologies. Sometimes it takes me longer to do stuff because I can't find it or its obselete.

meh it's ok, cranky I wasted so much time getting the azure stuff set up on my own (as it all has changed since the course was written) AND then I came across the additional material how to set it up the new way, also missing DDL for the database tables was very poor form, we are about half-way through the course and as of yet address almost nothing which relates to xamarin.forms as for the xamarin.forms content he never explained the why never the why

Very professional, highlighted the most important points you need to know to start working on Xamarin forms, and most importantly the duration of the course is short but efficient which makes it a very good course.

Overall, a very good course! Definitely takes a lot longer than the lecture time. I had a particular section that I got completely stuck on do to some updates in external material. The instructor was very good to help me get up and running, although it did take longer than I was hoping.

I love the teaching style of Asfend , straight to the point. I really appreciated the part on FFImageLoading. This is my fourth course on xamarin forms with Asfend and I'm really satisfied. I hope that the next real world application will integrate MVVM pattern, unit testing and UI testing. Thanks
