A short course on one narrow topic: how to structure a Xamarin Forms app with MVVM, first by hand and then with the Prism framework. Across 32 lectures and about two hours, Asfend Yar Hamid builds the same small Quotes app three times, once without MVVM, once with it, and once on Prism with Unity handling dependency injection. The requirements list is clear that this is not a beginner course. Students are expected to know C#, Xamarin Forms and XAML already. It suits a working developer whose app has grown messy and who wants to see the pattern applied end to end in an afternoon.

Reviewers like how direct it is. One reviewer says the explanation of data binding and INotifyPropertyChanged is clearer than in bigger courses that skip the why, and the Prism section gets the warmest praise. The complaints are consistent too. The Unity IoC section is called outdated, the Quotes app is simple, and one student wanted tabbed pages, master-detail layouts and passing data back between pages. One two-star review says it should be renamed 'Learn Prism', and a three-star calls it superficial. A couple of reviewers found the instructor's accent hard to follow. Wonderfully explained specially the MVVM part, Most other courses assume students to know why can't they link data from ViewModel directly to View (UI) and why INotifyPropertyChanged or Observable object is important. Other courses I checked just skipped what is the most important detail for a beginner like myself. Thank you Asfand!

The instructor teaches how to code xamarin apps according to enterprise standards. I would recommend getting any of his courses. He goes straight to the point when teaching. The first udemy course I have ever completed without any errors.

Good course, for beginners. Short and clear. But notice that speaker has very specific pronunciation. So understanding is much harder than usually it is. This information will be usefull for student, who do not know english like native language.

Concrete training theory and perfect practice. It allowed me to discover Xamarin forms with design pattern specifically mvvm, now I feel a lot more comfortable designing cross-platform mobile apps. The Teacher is so logical he must have made a load of efforts on this course. The "logical" , by that I mean, he always teaches from your side at least for me, from a beginner's view and thinking. And I must say that this is the greatest mvvm course on Udemy. Moreover ,with all of that being said, though, I learned an enormous amount of knowledge in a short amount of time and for that I am eternally grateful!
