Course Description
A Business Impact Analysis or BIA brings about the differentiation between critical (urgent) and non-critical (non-urgent) organization functions/activities. A function may be considered critical if it impairs or stops operations of the organization and causes detrimental ramifications for the stakeholders. All of this will be discussed in this course.
It will also give an introduction to Crisis Management and Business Continuity Planning. Modules will cover the importance of BIA, its benefits, needs and reasons for conducting one. The BIA process, methods and elements will also be detailed and discussed. An explanation of how BIA is important in an IT contingency planning process will be included in the course. Lastly, the myths and the realities of Business Impact Analysis will be presented and weighed against each other.

O curso é basicamente uma apresentação lida, com alguns comentários extras. É um conteúdo bem iniciante, mas da um overview bacana sobre o assunto e é possível compreender bem o inglês, apesar de algumas legendas estarem incorretas.

I find it easy to assimilate the information.

I work in financial sector, the information provided here is relevant and covers the overall BIA process with a range of practical tips, including buy-in for the management of BIA as such. I recommended to pass this course to the ones who want to understand what is BIA, why & how we need to perform it.

It is clear and easy to understand the topic. I hope there will be also some examples from real situations later on in the course

Good information, but much like using a screen reader to read a text. Other courses that I have taken on Udemy have a much more personable delivery with an engaged on-screen (or off-screen) instructor. This course consisted of two hours of very dry readers.

There doesn't appear to be a place to download resources. The slides have several key points that are not on the slide, but in the transcript. It was be helpful to have a page that gave bullet points or all the information is on the screen. On funny note, the speaker is stating Vital, but the transcript states "Vajazzle" - which is slightly inappropriate. :D

BIA part is fine but Crisis management part is unwanted and even for BIA You should provide some downloadable documents including BIA report template

Comprehensive and interesting course on an important subject.

I enjoyed the course, it was informative and served my purpose of learning. However for a complete course and example of a key areas such as BIA could have been shown as an example and not just the theory.
