Course Description

Welcome to How to Draw Cartoon Dogs! This is a course for beginners, kids, parents or anyone else who would like to learn cartooning. In this course I’ll be walking you step-by-step through my process to create seven cartoon dogs. By the end of this workshop you will have created a chihuahua, a German shepherd, a poodle, a basset hound, a pug, a bulldog and a sausage dog!

I’ll first show you the sketch phase, where I build up each dog with some basic shapes, then we’ll move on to inking in the dominant lines with a thick pen, followed by adding details with a thin pen. Finally we will get out some colored pencils and do some good old fashioned coloring in!

I absolutely enjoyed this course! I love his style of drawing and teaching! :) I was nervous to draw dogs, but he made it fun and relaxing to draw cartoon dogs. :) Love how he explains it with shapes! I'm so glad I purchased this course. Thank you!

I think this course is harder than the face drawings,but so far I am doing good on the drawngs .

I enjoyed the course very much. I always felt that I had no artistic abilities, but with the great explanations and videos, I find that I can do quite well. Now I am going to have to try to do a Greyhound since I work with a rescue group. I am sure that I will be taking more of these courses in the future.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course. It was really helpful to be given a process to use... Step 1-Start with basic shapes Step 2-Add details etc. Im quite a creative person and have painted in oils for years but I was completely clueless when it came to cartoons-Im pleased to report that I am no longer clueless. This is a great course for beginners. The directions are clear and easy to follow. More importantly, you can take the basic designs and use them for other dogs, altering it to make it your own. A great teacher and a great course!!

Loving it so far. It's a little fast for me but I can catch up. Now that I am finished...... I loved it. Short, sweet and thorough. I'd like it a little slower paced so I can keep up better. ????????????

She’s drawn 4 cartoon dogs based on her learnings so far and the parents and teachers are flipping out at how amazing her cartooning skills are.
