I was hoping to see more "mechanical design" formulas and techniques based on stresses and loads developed within pumps, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. for example, how thick should the volute be to withstand radial loads, and how can we measure these loads??. and how thick should the impeller blades be to withstand shear stresses or any other loads affecting them?
+ the accent of the instructor is, with all due respect, poor, I could have ignored the accent if the provided information in the lectures was satisfying.

For a beginner, course should be started with basic knowledge like what is pump , classification of pump and pump components not NPSH , cavitation or calculations.

I am enjoying this course so far. As a second year engineering student, this series offers a nice supplement to my regular curriculum and allows me to apply some of the concepts that I've learned so far. Some concepts could be better explained; I would personally make it a point to explicitly define absolute pressure as in vacuum conditions as opposed to talking about natural/artificial reference points, but maybe that is splitting hairs. Overall I am having a positive experience. I would recommend a more accurate closed captioning program, the presenter's accent means that certain words are misinterpreted (I am however quite amused that the CC thinks this is a course on bombs, not pumps).
