It gets a little hard to follow the speaker. A lot of words are mispronounced and not what I expected but I appreciate the PDF to follow along and the examples given. I haven't lost interest in following along. Other than the speakers pronunciation on some of the words I do enjoy this course so far. (Half Way)

Oh yes the match is good. I have participated in various trainings; this is a wonderful refresher course. I experience improved insight into the flexibility and incorporation value of different aspects of the presented theoretical information of different schools of thought. The progression so far indicates a multitude of options for the therapist to consider when entering the child (adolescent adult, aged) client's life space. Concepts awoke curiosity e.g. Children communicating by using signs only. I did some research to satisfy my curiosity to consider other diagnosis other than DEAF or hard of hearing barriers to verbal communication.

I loved how the course broke things down into smaller chunks, and related the different techniques to real life case studies so we could get a better feel for application with clients. I also really appreciate the encouragement to focus on one area of study/one technique to specialize in rather than doing a few of them without as much focus.

As an Occupational Therapist, specializing in Pediatrics; this topic could generate an idea and hone a reviewed understanding with theoretical background from Behavioral philosophers on the benefit of play and art therapy. As a feedback to the author of this class/topic cite example not only based on children aged 5+ and above. Try to also cite examples for children on exploratory and/or sensorimotor play, which more clients are on this age group nowadays, especially to children diagnosed with ASD. Thank you.

Very informative. The case studies were very interesting, but unfortunately very brief. I would have loved more information on them and maybe examples of how this particular problem was approached in the sessions. I'm aware of the confidentiality and sensitivity of this information. Maybe a short animation instead of a real-life video could solve this issue.

By Cheri Tobolski on 12/31/2024

The teacher is very informative and giving a lot of information but I really wish there were visual examples of children play or what art work would look like or a sand tray completed. I am a visual learner so that would help me better to understand how to implement these ideas into practice.

By Sulyn van Dyk on 9/23/2024

It was a good match, as a qualified teacher I already had a lot of knowledge regarding the types of play, but it was still interesting. I would recommend some visual aids, or videos where these discussed techniques are shown in "practice" It gets a bit boring to just read along with what the guy is saying. But over all, I am happy and would recommend this course.

By Tamuna Lomidze on 9/3/2024

Such a great and well-structured course for psychologists and not only. I think every parent needs deeper understanding of their own child and their needs and development. Thank you for this opportunity.

Prof Sharma is an incredible teacher, he is succinct and speaks very good and clear English. For me, his courses accompany my degree in Visual Arts beautifully. I thought every lecture was structured, informative, enlightening, and professional. I admire Prof Sharma, as not only does he have a great way with words, but he is excellent at getting his points across. I will go on to do more of his courses, and I recommend him highly. A wonderfully gifted academic.
