It was an excellent learning experience. The concepts were explained very clearly, making even complex topics easy to understand. The explanations were detailed, practical, and well-structured, which helped build a strong foundation as well as confidence for the certification exam. The training content was highly engaging, and the real-world examples added significant value.

This course is a good start into cloud security and covers a lot of different subjects. This helps a lot to get a foot into the different areas and start further investigations. At some points you wish to have a demo environment instead of setting up your own test environments. If you're using a desktop environment have a look at Talos (dev docker) to setup a cheap environment on your own system as it helps a lot to make own tests.

Great course! Small thing to notice regarding the Linux Capabilities chapters, some Linux distributions mount /tmp with nosuid or even noexec, meaning that adding the capabilities alone won't work. I moved the binary to my home folder and it then I could execute the binary (after setting the capability again). Part on Cilium with DNS wasn't working for me with Alpine images, I had to set "ndots" to "1" in the Pod yaml (DnsConfig -> options)

Zeal is always amazing at breaking things down and going over each part thoroughly so that you can really grasp the fundamental ideas behind each concept and then he gives very straightforward and comprehensive practicals to test that what you're learning is indeed how it works. It would be impossible to recommend his courses too much.

The overall content was pretty good. something that majority of instructors are doing is making each video as long as a Bollywood movie which is impossible to keep track while keep listening on tons of words that goes through very fast. so thats the downside that i felt, otherwise ok course

The instructor explained the topics clearly, and demonstrated different scenarios related to each topic. This made it easier to understand how things work without having to use labs. It's definitely foundational, and you'll still need to work out the different scenarios on your own (in practice) to be prepared to pass the test.

The course and the lecture are good.. I am getting the below error while trying to initialize the cluster with kubeadm. Invested a lot of time but did not able to solve it. It's an amazing and comprehensive course. The only thing I would change is reducing the time spent on introductions and general concepts. Since the CKA is a prerequisite for the CKS, there's no need to re-explain many topics so deeply. Of course there's the option to skip those lectures, but still one can fear missing something if the lecture is there. All in all I learned a lot and I really recommend this course.

One of the best course for CKS, learnt many new concepts in Kubernetes Security and this course has been prepared with an equal amount of importance given to learning these concepts and also preparing for the certification and exam preparation section helped me a lot in getting enough practice required for me to clear the certification, Thanks a lot Zeal for the amazing content!!
