Course Description
CISSP is the gold standard for security certifications. It covers the breadth of information security’s deep technical and managerial concepts. Learning to effectively design, engineer, and manage the overall security posture of an organization.
This course covers Domain 1 - Security and Risk Management. This domain is one of the most important domains in the CISSP exam. It lays the foundation, covering security concepts that all the other domains build upon. Understanding exactly what security means and the core concepts around assessing and managing the wide array of risks we face is fundamental to every domain in the CISSP.
Domain 2 - Asset Security. An asset is anything we value. When we have highly valued assets, such as sensitive data, securing those assets throughout their lifecycle is paramount. We will learn about data standards, classification, regulations, retention, and controls to protect organizational value.
Domain 3 - Security Engineering. Engineering is about understanding and designing systems that work. Security is a fundamental part of any well-designed system. This domain will help you understand the engineering lifecycle and various models and security components required in data structures and physical facilities. We also learn how cryptography fits in to information security.
Domain 4 - Communication and Network Security. Information is not just stored; it is also transmitted and must be secured in transit. Understanding networking models, protocols, hardware components, and possible attack vectors is vital to information security. It is one of the most important domains on the CISSP exam.
Domain 5 - Identity and Access Management. Controlling who can access valuable resources can lead to proper confidentiality, integrity, and availability. A CISSP must understand mechanisms and techniques to verify a subject’s authenticity before authorizing access. They must be able to assure that only proper interactions have occurred and mitigate potential attacks.
Domain 6 - Security Assessment and Testing. Understanding the effectiveness of your security measures is vital. As you collect and review logs, verify software development security, and undergo security audits and certification you can have some assurance and insight into your security status and needs.
Domain 7- Security Operations. From incident response that involves investigation of evidence to facility access management and disaster recovery planning, testing, and implementation, this domain requires putting security principles and concepts into practice.
Domain 8 - Security in the Software Development Life Cycle. Many of the most publicized security issues have stemmed from flaws in the software code. While a CISSP does not have to be a software developer, they must understand and be able to communicate software development security needs. In this domain you will learn important terminology and concepts of software development.

I particularly love seeing the instructors face and actions which gives the classroom effect and quite engaging unlike most other videos that's just them reading off a pdf. That's why I like Mike Myers videos too. The half star missing is because sometimes, the talks are spoken like you're being taught the role and not how to pass the exam which makes it feel this could be a video for after you have passed the exam lol. But overall 4.5/5 because it was engaging and really mixes real life examples and scenarios in all the domain.

My experience in this course has been incredibly enriching and rewarding. The instructor is second to none, bringing a wealth of experience and deep knowledge to every lesson. His teaching style is clear, engaging, and thoroughly effective, making even the most complex topics accessible and interesting. His passion for the subject is evident and inspiring, making each topic not just educational but genuinely enjoyable. Overall, this course has exceeded my expectations, thanks largely to the instructor’s exceptional skills and dedication.

Loved your analogies for the more complex concepts. It really helped break them down into simple and easy-to-digest ideas and stories that helped me with a lot of the areas I wasn't proficient in.

This is the only CISSP coursr I have done, so I do not have anything to compare with. Good: the instructor is good. He points out the elements which are important for the exam. The videos are segmented in chunks, which makes it easier to consume. Room for improvement: the props- the instructor is sometimes talking about a screen or a prompt he is demonstrating on, but that screen is not available for us to view. Some videos contain content that should be removed (like mistakes he corrects later). It would be nice with some downloadable presentation.

Today I passed the CISSP exam using only this course as my training program. Although I have over the years of experience in IT, this course really covered the areas I had less experience in enough to be able to pass the exam on my first try. The instructors cadence and delivery are comfortably paced and the subject matter is broken into easily digestible chunks.

A very good course --- as far as it goes. This seems to be a soft, conceptual introduction to the CISSP exam. Something to get your brain thinking along the lines of its content. I suspect that this course, by itself, will NOT be sufficient to enable one to actually pass the exam. This course was my first step in preparing, so I have not gone through other courses, books or sample questions to compare, but have done similar professional exams. I expect that the exam may contain more specific, technical, detailed questions than indicated here. Instructor says that the CISSP is "a mile wide and inch deep." But ... I suspect that there are some dark crevices along that mile that will require in-depth knowledge about certain, specific topics. I guess I will find out.

Amazing course with tons of examples done by professional trainer. Must have course if you want to prepare to CISSP exam. Perfectly briliant ! :) Native speaking teacher is big deal when you are lessening to many hours of a course. What is the best is tons of examples helping you undrstand all discussed topics. Highly recommended.

Amazing course, time to schedule a test and see how it goes! -Update- Passed the test first time around! Want to thank the instructor for breaking everything down enough to understand any complicated topics but also not overwhelm with too many details. Great course, would recommend!

Meh...... Very polished presenter and slides, good speaker. But...... 1. No handouts or references made available 2. Slides tend to lack depth - especially when about more detailed subject matter. 3.Slides have all text and a talking head, but no charts or other graphics (but graphics are sometimes mentioned by presenter?) Seems to be Intelezy's m.o.

I loved going through the course. The instructor is engaging and not boring at all. I didn't feel as if it was dry material. Telling stories and jokes .along the way helped me not get bored as I usually tend to lose focus. Great job!
