Command Line Essentials: Git Bash for Windows (Udemy.com)

I had some troubles understanding the chapter about creating scripts. that's because the teacher wrote some codes that went unexplained, such as shebang or #!. I couldn't find an explanation to that but it is nonetheless a very good introduction. cheers

It is a good introductory course for anyone interested in understanding Bash command-line scripting. The course is presented in a clear manner and a steady pace. The presenter basically makes it easy to grasp the essentials with his style. Highly recommended.

The instructor is really at the top of his content. He does a very good job and exposing the important bits of the content in a neat and concise manner. I think I've got a good start with Command line basics after having taken in this course. Hope to see more detailed content in the next courses.

I truly enjoyed this course. The instructor was direct and to the point, well spoken. Didn't use lingo beginners wouldn't understand, Knew his subject well and was able to relay all important aspects on the subject. Admittedly I missed 2 questions on the quiz, which he made a point advising us to be careful/cautious of rm-rf . That they were Extremely Dangeous and to ALWAYS double check before pressing enter when these commands were in use. I thank him , missing those questions only solidified my reason to remember his warning and take it much more seriously. I took this course because I want to understand the command line. His course exposed me to it. I feel a little safer taking Node js. now.................... Thanks Jason.

Instructor has a good understanding of the course and what he is trying to make you understand. Just one thing I think need to be improved is to make the teaching a bit more easy and engaging.Though My Overall experience was great

This is a great introduction to replacing the use of CMD with Git Bash for Windows. The content of this course is as basic as it comes; super simple to understand. Don't expect to learn anything more than navigating through the shell; however, learning those basic commands will come in handy 100%. The most I got out of it was customizing your shell with .bashrc and avoiding typing long commands with hard to remember arguments; very useful tool indeed!

I like everything about the course. I feel like this course provided a great foundation for continuing to grow my skills. Everyone should experience a course like to this for confidence building. Jason is a talented instructor. I wish he taught all the classes I'm interested in.

The course was well presented and detailed, most interesting part it refreshed my memory on some DOS and Terminal command from the 80's-90's. DOS command line was very popular back then when i was learning computer Technology down to processor and co-processor level (8088 & 80386). Anyway Jason keep up the fine course coming and i will keep on refreshing or even learn new stuff from you. Kudos. Rob V.

Jason is an excellent and well-prepared instructor. He knows precisely what he wants to accomplish in each lecture. Too many instructors appear to be "figuring it out as they go", transforming what should be an organized learning experience into an exhibition, and the student into an observer. Unless we participate by clearly understanding the problem that what we're learning resolves, the experience loses relevance and becomes boring. Learning itself is never boring. Instructor enthusiasm can be nice, but learning is its own reward. Jason clearly knows his field of expertise and wants his students to learn, which makes him an excellent instructor.
