Robin Hills
Hi. I'm Robin Hills. I am an emotional intelligence coach, trainer and facilitator with over 40 years' business and commercial experience. I provide knowledge and skills that help people understand themselves and others better.
I have the most comprehensive range of on-line courses based on emotional intelligence in business - not only on Udemy but anywhere on the internet. I am not teaching any other types of course as I am a specialist in emotional intelligence and it is the focus of my business.
In early 2024, I was presented an Honorary Doctorate in Advanced Studies in Psychology in recognition of my contribution to online Emotional Intelligence training, which started with Udemy back in 2014.
My courses go beyond the fundamental basics of emotional intelligence covering many aspects of how it can be applied in day to day work to lead, grow and develop people in ways that build authentic relationships.
My work takes me into small start-ups through to large corporate multi-nationals and into the Public Sector with financial institutions, government departments and health departments, as well as charities. This provides me a practical understanding of how emotional intelligence works and applied in the real world, enabling me to keep up to date with relevant issues.

I gained some really good insights on myself and the team I work with. This will be instrumental knowledge on relating to people and their individual styles. I immediately recognized my own reactions to past situations and how I can absorb information in the future without applying emotional context to it. It won't correct some of the dysfunctional behavior of other team members but I am hopeful I won't contribute to it. I will definitely be better equipped to handle those types of situations moving forward. Honestly, this should be taught to all employees as a fundamental step towards building a better workplace through empathy and understanding of each other first - it's an ideal course to use in on-boarding or required of all newly minted supervisors. It would definitely help the overall team and the work produced if everyone was on the same page and this behavior & knowledge was fostered as part of the culture.

It was a good learning overall, please find some feedback below. Some point of time lecture was not as interesting to focus, this could be more interesting, Also require some more practical example and more visual points that can help to understand topic more precisely. Thanks

I learned a lot from this course. Some things I was already doing, but others are new lessons and gave me a deeper understanding of interpersonal relationships at work. I would recommend this to any organization that wants to grow its employees and leaders to be more productive as a team.

Sir, subject chosen and content is above expectation...but presentation can be made more enjoyable with sample videos demonstrating the skills that you mentioned..example, provided a scenario, take a clipping from a movie and demonstrate who is critically thinking and who is laterally thinking...take a conversation between 2 people , be it interview or movie clipping, you could explain barriers of communication , and how non verbal communication matters in that scenario....undoubtedly this is course with many valuable messages and mix of psychology and skill.
