I haven't watched it entirely but seems to make simple games which is good for beginners. One thing I did not like is that some of the videos have mistakes or code that does not work for some reason. For those who can google out what they need, it works. The only reason I'm not giving it 4 or 4.5 is because I haven't come across more complicated games with assets from the asset store in the course. Will update the rating when I do.

I decided to go in order, and have thus started with the space shooter. as a beginner, his tutorials so far have been pretty good, though I honestly would recommend he go into a little more detail about some of the C# commands. other than that, the practice making these different types of games has been enlightening. Lastly, I do recommend he do a course on making a 2D or 3d Tower defense game with unity, as thats one of many I would like to make and would love a tutorial on the subject. all in all, so far i give 3.5 stars, hope thats fair

Alles goed uitgelegd, snel maar duidelijk. Als je 't bij kan houden, is het een hele goeie cursus. Ik heb na de zes lessen die ik heb gekeken al enorm veel geleerd.

Really Useful. Main Issue is that functions used and language aren't explained so that the student can use them on their own separately. For example: IEnumerators are used constantly, and I do not know what exactly they are other than a different type of "void" function. I don't know what reasons one may have for specifically using it. Though this is remedied if the student searches it up on the Unity website

Still early in the tutorial but instructor is not explaining many steps. The practice of not commenting anything seems questionable. There are a number of sections during the first "build a space shooter" where the lesson has you do things but doesn't show the results in game. For example, the explosion, debug on collision with player, and end game SceneManager work is all part of the instruction but then not demonstrated.

Goes a little too fast - had issues getting the projectiles to shoot - got an error "UnassignedReferenceException: The variable projectile of PlayerLogic has not been assigned." Eventually added the PrefabProjectile to the Player Inspector window in the script area. Seems to work ok now.

Great pacing, good explanations and understandable examples. It is the kind of approach that I really appreciate when I am trying to learn new skills. I also admit that I really love the opening graphics and music! Cool!

Very informative, and very easy to watch this series and take notes at the same time. I recommend pausing the video frequently if you are wanting to take notes because they do not often repeat the same thing a bunch of times. This allows you to watch the video and feel like it is 27 minutes long, because that's the shortest amount of time the video could have possibly been. A big pet-peeve of mine is when instructors repeat the same bits of information over and over again for seemingly no reason at all.

So far the instructor has done really well at explaining what the different pieces of programming do and why to use them. The only reason I leave off half is because I'm still not sure exactly what the difference is with a float. Obviously an integer is a number, but if you reset it in the update void, it changes. So what is the purpose of the float? Perhaps I will learn in future videos.

I took this course, because I thought it's an easy way to quickly get experience in making different game mechanics. I mean - 40+ Unity games in one course! So, at first it was OK, though not every detail was explained (for some reason this things explaned in later videos from section 6, so may be it should be 1st section). But after 6th section it doesn't look like a course anymore, more like Twitch stream for people, that know everything about unity programming and just need some advice how to make exact game. Teacher just manually printing lines (from, I suppose, already written working scripts) from top to the bottom (all variables first, without explaining why we need them). A lot of new material without even brief explaination what it does. And, because of this top-to-bottom approach, he doesn't even run game until he finishes writing scripts. I don't know why it happened, because first 6 sections made with standart approach, when you adding something new, test, fix, write some more etc. So, I am disappointed, if at first sections I didn't understood some lines, now I don't understand anything. May be I'll return later, when I already got experience in making games and I will understand more, so for now I'll give 3 stars not 2. But for now I feel completely lost and frustrated.
