I took this course in its iOS 11 incarnation, and am looking forward to going back through for the iOS 12 updates. It's a fast paced course, so, you should have some iOS programming under your belt beforehand. I had a few sticky problems with some of the library installs that others didn't, but, that's computers, no two are alike, and not the fault of the course. The information provided is concise but complete, and the examples provide useful bases to build on.

He has enthusiasm, and is providing useful info, but he obviously is primarily a windows .Net developer and consistently misuses terms in a way which shows his windows background. (e.g. "/" is not a backslash, and code is the Assistant Editor is not the "code behind", and he seems to be iffy on auto-layout.) Still, I am getting useful information regarding the purpose of the course (Machine Learning). Probably should not be called a "master class" though, as it is very basic.

Course needs clearer pathway of progression through the material - sometimes the lesson goes off on a tangent. It would be helpful to clearly explain how every part of the lesson is associated with the lesson as a whole. Instructor's manner sounds like an elementary school sports coach, cheering "all right" every few minutes - it's good to sound upbeat, but don't treat adults as though we are little kids... On the positive side, the course curriculum is important and very relevant in today's context. It would be better to jump right in and teach with an approach that requires student simultaneous participation through coding examples and mini-tests and problems to solve.

The videos could use a little polishing, updating, and more content. Organization needs a little tweaking. The course is not a deep dive into theory. It does, however give you some exposure with using existing models and frameworks (even ones not created by Apple) and shows you how to hook them up in iOS. You can get your feet wet with the course and then explore other educational avenues depending on interest. Overall, it's not exactly what I expected, but I think the course pointed me in the right direction.

This is the best iOS 11 course on Udemy. PERIOD. it's 2017 iOS has been out for like what 10 years? A bunch of you guys must be just like me, i've got some experience with iOS already, i've taken many courses for each iOS 7, iOS9, iOS10, you name it. i know the basic stuff already, i couldn't waste my time with a regular iOS 11 course, i needed to go deeper and that's what i got out OFF this course PERIOD.

Hey Yohann, I like the way you explain the processes step by step and do not write the code line by line.... what I mean is that you show Xcode complaining and then fix the complaint ... a specific example would be in Section 4, Lecture 23 at around the 4:10 mark .... Xcode complains over and over and you address each complaint on the fly as they happen .... most teachers will just write in the correct line of code from the get go to eliminate the complaints ... I like the way you have put this together - it has helped tremendously

For an absolute machine learning beginner like me this course is a very good, practical introduction. I've gotten a good high level idea of using machine learning in software and how to code a few reasonably straight forward examples. I particularly like the way the instructor takes the time to show how to check that I have the right versions of software, that installation processes have worked as they should and explicitly demonstrating gotcha's and fix's.

i kept seeing how machine learning is becoming huge and i didn't know where to start. I was afraid i would miss on a great opportunity. I'm halfway through this course and I'm so happy i joined. This course has provided me the guidance and the strength to get started with machine learning

i heard about the Machine Learning hype but i didn't know where to start. This course helped me get the fundamentals to add ML to iOS apps. The instructor does a great job at explaining scientific concepts using simple terms. I recommend this course. period.
