The course has very limited concepts of depth, and it does most of operations using SSMS UI, In real world when you work in real projects you will be hardly interacting with UI of SSMS, Therefore I believe while learning to do stuff with UI is easy and OK but we still should prefer Queries, It will build muscle memory and will be effective during the real world databases

Excellent course, congratulations to the instructor. The instructor's knowledge of SQL databases is evident. The explanation is very clear and simple, covering many SQL Server topics. However, if followed exactly, the records don't match the examples and there are changes in table names. Therefore, creating your own records makes following the course much easier. More real-world exercises for students to practice would be helpful. A guide to SQL Server books and a more comprehensive guide to SQL statements would be useful for understanding the commands. Thank you very much.

This course will get you up to speed on SQL, SQL Server, and SQL Server Management Studio quickly. It's even nice for a review of topics you may have forgotten over the years. I especially like that the instructor includes every error he makes in the videos so you can see how to solve common problems. I highly recommend this course and have already recommended it to a colleague.

Very informative, clear, and actually kind of fun. I enjoyed this course and would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn how to use MS SQL Server and learn how to use basic-complex SQL queries. This course compacted a ton of information in only 8.5 hours. I was able to follow along, take extensive notes, and copy many queries that I know I will use in my career. Thanks for the lessons!

This might be the best instructional series I've participated on with Udemy. The only thing it is lacking is some tests and projects. However, if you are starting out and need to get up to speed quick, I can't think of a better class to take. Take this first, when using SQL and dive into something more in depth with projects later. Or better yet, just work on your own projects with this. Some of the best $20 I've ever spent.

This is a good course for beginners. Unless I missed it I don't appreciate the fact that he barely touched on how to modify existing tables WITHOUT dropping them. This is a big deal when working in real world applications and I think that should have been covered more. He shows how to enable an option that makes dropping a table easier when editing, this ONLY works for test apps.

First time putting review on Udemy and I need to say. I've done few SQL Courses and I can say THIS ONE is WORTH THE MONEY !! Trevoir is a great mentor , REALLY ACTIVE, answering your questions , sending links helping out. Sometimes you buy a course and it's not updated , its BAD and you getting charged for it... Here you got really solid knowledge ! Only part I wasn't happy was TRIGGERs , there so many kinds of them and there was only one example we had. I was hoping there will be ready made databse for course and we will manipulated it from start , not just random data insert but after all Tutor was GREAT! Strong 4 stars ! Like I said before only missing it was ready-made database with much more data for us to train on it , more exercises. 'homework ' would be nice and like I said Trigger for me it was not enough information needed to 'google it ' and I did create INSERT/DELETE/UPDATE Triggers after all :) Course worth your time !

This course is surely not for absolute beginners. It would be very hard to follow if I had not had already some SQL experience. The explanations of table relationships were erratic and would confuse a novice. However, for people with some preliminary knowledge, this course would work as a very quick overview of MS SQL Server and its native language, Transact-SQL. I found the latter parts of the course concerning functions and stored procedures really helpful. It would be nice if some formal exercises to reinforce the material were added.

I completed this course as a beginner of SQL. I had no prior experience of SQL. The instructor explains things very nicely. But there are certain concepts which required a little more of explanation about what they do (especially for an absolute beginner). Also it would be better if practice exercises and quizes were included in every section. Overall I learnt alot from this course.

it was great introductory course. instructor has done amazing job. one should try this course. i will definitely enroll any other course delivered by same the instructor.
