MySQL Database Development Mastery! is a good course for beginners but the last lectures are a little complex and hard to understand if you don't do practice side by side.

Generally a good course with essential concepts and useful examples. But still many practical aspects are not included such as the time format and detailed condition setting.

Buen curso, sabia solamente del lado visual (DER) y complemento muy bien la parte lógica y escrita del mismo, por lo que me ayudo mucho a comprender la dinámica interna! Gracias.

The course was great. It covered all the topics. The one thing that is missing in this course is the project part where everyone has to work on building one database from scratch and submit the final output to get the certificate. That would have been fun to do. Otherwise this is the great course for beginner to enroll. Thank you.

This is a good introductory course to working with MySQL, and to using the MySQL Workbench tool. "Mastery" is a bit of an overstatement (everyone seems to put either "Mastery" or "Hero" in their class titles), but this is a good place to start. At times, the instructor goes a little quickly, partly due to his deep understanding of the concepts and tools. (He never does explain his 'trick' of keeping SQL queries at hand, but by slowly going over the videos - and discovering "File/Save Script as..", I learned a very valuable tip.) It's important to work along with him, but I feel well-grounded in the material he covers. Oh, and you won't learn database normalization in this course, but he covers the basics so that you realize you will need to take a separate course on your way to true "mastery." This course is a good starting point on your journey.
