Course Description
Microsoft Azure is the premiere cloud platform from Microsoft. It is an excellent space for hosting .NET applications and the modern .NET developer must be comfortable navigating the different services and features and using the cloud hosting platform to produce top-notch enterprise applications.
In this course, you will get familiar with Microsoft Azure, it's interface, and various services. You will provision and then use Microsoft Azure resources and services and have an appreciation for how everything connects and can contribute to your stable and modern application being developed.
Along the way, you will learn how to:
Navigate and customize Azure Portal
Lean to use Azure CLI and Azure PowerShell
Provision Virtual Machines on Azure
Provision and use Azure App Services
Monitor web applications for performance and potential errors using Application Insights
Scale applications and databases based on load
Setup Deployment Slots
Setup continuous deployment with GitHub Actions and Azure Web App Services
How to manage application secrets in .NET Applications
Use Azure SQL and understand the different hosting models
Use Azure Blob Storage
Use Azure Cosmos DB
Use Azure Service Bus and Queues
Build and Deploy Azure Functions
Integrate Advanced .NET Application Security with Azure AD and Azure AD B2C
By the end of this course, you should have a fundamental understanding of what Microsoft Azure is and hits many services, and third-party tools can best serve your context.
This course aligns with training required for the Exam AZ-204: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure examination, though it is not an official training guide. It is perfect for you if you need to know enough about developing with Azure to be functional in your workspace, without taking the exam.
Having a foundation in ASP.NET Core development will come as a plus, because we will be focusing less on the fundamentals and only be making modifications to an existing application as needed to complete the tasks in this course. If you are unfamiliar with ASP.NET Core, you may visit the course Complete ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Development, which will give you a very beginner friendly start to the ASP.NET Core ecosystem and allow you to get up to speed quickly.
Along the way, we also author some original and unique applications to demonstrate how integrations work between our code and Microsoft Azure APIs.

Great start for getting familiar with and starting work with Azure. The course touches all of the most important topic, however doesn't go too deep. But it's goal is to make the Azure AZ-204 certificate possible, so maybe it's not the scope of this type of course.

I have taken other Azure courses in the past, but they were all very theory-focused to help you pass the certification exam. This course is different. It's a great combination of theory and practice, which increases your understanding of each topic. Highly recommended!

explain very well, but expected some more details like how to configure continuous delivery along with continuous deployment , and few points are not covered like event hub, grid

A lot of the topics in the course are outdated, with info that’s no longer relevant. The demo apps are basically just “hello world” level. From an MS MVP I’d expect higher quality content. I’ve noticed this seems to be a trend on Udemy — when “developers” don’t feel like coding anymore, they try making tutorials instead.

Really good and practical course, now, a lot of information and the UI can be outdated. Expected though, since the course is from 2024, but the Azure Directory part, in specific needs a complete overhaul as it has been mostly replaced by other services, with you not even being able to create an Azure AD B2C anymore (you can still create a tenant though)

This course provide all necessary details that .Net developer needed to start journey into Microsoft Azure development. Containt of course are pretty much big and covers all section of Azure for .Net developer needed. Videos are understandable and provide in detail code for basic start.

The course is really good, of course I don not know by heart how to create all this resources, but I know them all now, if I need this resources some day I just come back to the lessons and apply in the real world, It's really friendly but I advice you to know .NET by heart so it will not take your attention and you can focus just on the Azure teachings. I recommend it a lot.

The course was awesome. I had some prior knowledge about some of the presented Azure services, but the course was good for consolidating what I already knew and for gaining new knowledge. As a future addition to the course, maybe we could have Azure Key Vault. Nonetheless, the course was great, the materials and the examples were very helpful, and the instructor had a very nice attitude, made everything easier to follow.

Brilliant explanations especially in those key areas related to Azure Development like Blob Storage,CosmosDB integration, amongst others like MongoDB relations. The code is absolutely enlightening to a developer coming from no knowledge of Azure, to grasping how content connections are devised and used to access, create, and manage Azure SQL, CosmosDB which applies relatively well to other resources.
