I am Albert Adjabeng and giving it 5 star which's above expectation(It's absolutely what a Nodejs dev needs) because prior to my experience making a decision to partake and enroll into this course has been my dream becoming a full-stack dev. It's does teach a lot of things which coding along will provide you with that immense knowledge required for the real world development. I have used Andrei lessons to build my own dashboard. But I do think following and practicing the codes along is worthwhile and feasible to do coded numerous of times like 4-5 times, clearing the codes and coding it again, again and again. It's unbelievable the amount of knowledge you can obtain if giving it 3-4 months depending on you pace will go a long way. Thanks Andrei Neogoie for making this a journey and making everything precise and on point. I will just have to go through the NASA project section again which's about 4 hours and hopefully it's click the second time.

The lecturer is highly professional. He explains every topic with exceptional clarity, starting from the fundamentals and expanding into how and why things work the way they do. Even in areas I’ve been familiar with for years, I find myself learning new insights. All explanations are clear, accessible, and easy to follow. The lessons are engaging and enjoyable, and it’s genuinely a pleasure to learn from him.

I love this course and really appreciate ZTM efforts to bring such quality content to the consumers of the course i.e. students. Being a Senior Frontend engineer, i can guarantee that this single course will make you an intermediate level BE developer and as you practice all things described in course and implement real world scenarios on a job, you will then be no longer away from your goal to become a senior backend developer.

I started this course with a basic to medium understanding of node.js. This was the perfect course to get a deeper knowledge of node, to understand what is happening behind the scenes, to create clean and modular code... The theory is important to me. Nevertheless, adding more real life examples and challenging exercices would make this course even better. And thanks a lot for the new challenge at the end with the introduction to Typescript and Deno...

A very thorough course that touches on all the important topics of modern development. Not only will you learn a lot about Node.JS and related topics, but there are comprehensive sections for real-world development processes like CI/CD or containerisation and deployment. Completing the course will take some time, but it is definitely worth it and will prepare you well for a career in the software development industry. Shoutout to Adam, who made the course very interesting throughout.

Thanks Andrei and Adam for this amazing course. You won't believe but I also have Udemy business account where I can buy as many courses I want in free. I bought another 3 Node.JS courses, But nobody even come closer to your given content. Roughly I spend 10 mins and think this is very basic, The level this course teaches feeling like Intermediate developer. I already have your React, Unethical hacking course too, but without any doubt I would highly give priority to your courses whenever I need to learn new things. Again, Thank you so much and may god give you more power to make a fantastic courses in future :)

I've taken a few TMZ courses to build up my JS skillset to the point where this course ame quite naturally. I enjoyed seeing another point of view in how to structure code, combine client & server into a single app, etc. I especially like how the instructor integrated testing throughout the course - most just have it as a single topic they arely revisit. My only issue was the lack of balance when it comes to using certain, mainly big tech-supplied features. There are a number of reasons to NOT use cloud-based solutions, or other olutions provided by big tech - they are not a panacea; would have been nice to at least hear some cons rather than all glowing pros, though I do understand why they would be taught in such a course.

The best thing about this course is Adam Odziemkowski. He teaches the best architecture ever, showing you how to architect your app like a professional. He is an amazing backend developer, and I have great admiration for him. Throughout the course, you will gain a deep understanding of how Node.js works behind the scenes. You will also learn how to implement authentication using Google, Docker, CI/CD, and AWS, which is amazing. However, one downside of the course is that it does not cover certain essential topics. You will not learn how to implement authorization, connect schemas, handle email sending, or utilize Mongo populate and virtuals. These aspects are crucial for becoming a proficient backend developer. As a backend developer, it's important to have a comprehensive understanding of these concepts and much more. Unfortunately, this course does not provide that level of coverage. The Nasa project discussed in the course focuses solely on retrieving data related to launches and planets. It does not delve into more complex functionalities. Regarding authentication, the course only demonstrates how to use Google for access to the app. However, it does not address granting different user permissions, such as distinguishing between regular users and admins with specific privileges. If your goal is to build even a basic API, this course might not be sufficient. After completing the course, I had to enroll in one additional Udemy course to gain the necessary knowledge. Despite its shortcomings, I still appreciate Adam Odziemkowski's expertise in teaching architectural concepts. His approach is unparalleled, and I hold him in high regard. However, if you are a beginner who plans to take multiple Node.js courses, I recommend including this course in your learning journey. Adam's instruction on architectural design is valuable and unmatched. I have taken other courses, but none of them compare to the architectural insights provided by Adam. He truly is the best. Lastly, I would like to address Andréi directly: I hope you consider updating this course and add real-world projects such as e-commerce API, bookings API, or social media AP ets I. Other courses have taken this approach, and they have enabled me to tackle substantial projects. Unfortunately, your course did not offer the same level of practical application.

The course is fairly good in general, but it has its flaws. For example, in section 14: Node Security + Authentication, authentication is implemented in a separate sample project and not in the main NASA project. That's disappointing. And only social sign-in with Oauth and Google is demonstrated. I would have liked to learn traditional sign-in, i.e. non social sign-in. Despite that section being more than four hours where the lecturer is really trying to explain authentication, social sign-in and sessions, it's difficult to grasp. So I'll need to look elsewhere to really learn about it. That's one example out of a few. On the other hand all courses have flaws. Despite the few flaws I consider the course good in general and worth going for.

The amount of detail is fantastic and while I know it's going to take longer than the normal Udemy course, there's been a lot of thought and care put into this course. As long as it's updated constantly to make sure it's not out of date, it'll be fantastic. UPDATE: The theory is applied very well. It's up to the student to find means to comprehend the theroy so to make the practical a lot easier to understand and remember. The hard work is done by ZTM. It's up to the student to determine if putting in the full effort, matters enough. I don't think there's going to be much better courses on this site and do wish I stumbled upon ZTM earlier.
