It's rare to have a lecturer both speaking from their own experiences and in an encouraging, enabling and inspiring way. Scott addresses many points and gives ideas and self-reflection opportunities so you can perceive the issue, come clear with it and tackle it. The lessons are in a well-done short form so you can even attend them with lower energy or little time, one by one, step-by-step. I highly recommend this course. - Thank you, Scott!

Very informative. Definitely my favorite course taken on Udemy thus far. I was not a fan of the presentation style, but I promise you the information is very useful and worth taking notes and rewatching again. I will recommend this class to every creative, journalist, memory keeper, decorator, artist, presenter, everyone really!

I was not aware of the complexity of the approach to some topics. It would seem that "just start to draw", but there are psychological conditions that affect your involvement, the process of getting down to start work. To what extent and to what should not be concerned - this is the background of the creative work, the background which is not very often discussed. That's why this course helped me a lot. Thanks for that material Scott!

This course was very helpful for me. It's mostly about changing your mindset about creative work, which is exactly what gets in my way of actually doing and creating a lot of the time. I liked that there were questions after each video lesson to help take the new concepts and figure out how they show up in your personal situation and how you could start changing some things that are more harmful than helpful. All in all a great course that I will definitely come back to in the future. Thanks Scott!

I LOVE YOU SCOTT HARRIS. Seriously, as many creatives like myself are Type B to the extreme, ADD/ADHD, generally give themselves a harder time than necessary, etc. it is so useful to have you as a smart, clearly productive type A creative who can break things down in ways that show it is possible to change little things for great results. People, take the time to do the assignment questions and take notes. I banged this out in 2 days and feel so much better about my path now.

I had purchased his Character Art School course, but have yet to take it. Then I came back and found he made this higher level, stepping back and taking a broader view course. This is a good start to me trying to get out of a creative rut, being out of creative work for a few years and trying to figure out which part of it to get back into. Thanks for making it and I will be trying to take the Character art course at some point for fun!

I'd call this course a diamond in the rough. It's good but could be better! The Good Stuff: - Courses provides some great insights and questions to help people to get through fear and issues with their art. What could be better: - A section on dealing with pressure from family and friends - Extra content that people can draw inspiration from when they get stuck with the assignment questions. The Confusing: - Loved the bloopers at the end as extra content but the art time lapses seemed a bit out of place? I assume the extra content section would have further resources that we could look into, perhaps. Anyhow, thank you for making this course - I did enjoy it!

When taking this course, do not expect a lot of actionable prompts right away. Instead, this course will take you through more of an introspective path to figure out your creative path, and the hurdles along it. The instructor delivers the topics in a clear and concise manner, sprinkling the theory with his own personal anecdotes, which serve very well as an example of someone dealing with the creative hurdles along their own path. Personally, I think that this course's value will be felt in the long run, and its topics are worth revisiting every so often when in doubt.

I don't know what I was expecting from this course, so it fell short of my expectations. However, this is definitely something for people who are struggling in the early stages of their artistic journey. I guess I was looking for inspiration and a pick-me-up kind of course versus a get-out-of-your-own-way kind of course. Well produced, though, and hits on a lot of stuff I think people take for granted.

Thank you, Scott. It helps me a lot. I see now in, I need to take my art journey slow and not rush it. take time for myself, my work (job) and my art journey. And appreciate where I am at the moment, I can be proud of what I am drawing now. Still have a long journey ahead. And proportion my life and schedule what I need. And not overwork myself. What I did on school, and because of that quit, overwork and don't have the results. And now I am working, I am more happy whit that. I can do now the things that I like the most. And the biggest part of all, be patient with yourself. It doesn't come overnight.
