Discrete Math For Computer Science (Udemy.com)

A very basic overview of some of the topics one would encounter in a Discrete Math course. There are other courses that are more complete, with more exercises to reinforce learning, especially if you're looking for something to supplement a strictly book-learning environment.

I want a deeper explanation.

It appears that this course covers whole of discrete math, and its explanation is easy to understand. It would be great if this has more practices and its explanations.

Good analogies, much better than my book.

Instructor's explanation is pretty clear. However, the content is very basic (probably can understand it with high-school standing), and with little digging into the material (since only had 2 hour-ish lectures). I have a bachelor's degree in math and am preparing for grad school in computer science. Because my discrete math was particularly bad, I took this class to learn discrete math in cs, and also this looks like a better option than the more expensive Coursera. But I am not sure if this amount of knowledge would be enough. Most of it is like a refreshment of the *surface* of what I know already. And there is no programming exercises. That being said, I would still recommend this to non-STEM background students or students that never deal with discrete math before, as it is very clear and intuitive, and can serve as a gateway to the more advanced topics. The video could use better captions, automatically generated ones have a lot of mistakes.

I'm impressed by the concise explanations of the concepts and notions. I think it'd be greater if you give students more exercise problems. They will make them be more accustomed. Thank you.
