I enjoyed this course and it's a good introduction to docker because you also get to test your skills in the lab and the lecture are also engaging so you can understand why you are doing certain things but you will also gain insight into how docker works. My main complain is just that it can feel a bit too fast sometimes but apart from that great course.

The course is really comprehensive. I really enjoyed the course, and the hands-on labs are really helpful in implementing the learning in a particular manner. The course content can be increased and expanded along with some notes and materials.

This course is a great starting point for anyone who wants to learn Docker, especially those beginning their journey in DevOps. The hands-on coding exercises make it much easier to understand Docker concepts by actually working with containers, images, networks, registries, and other essential Docker commands. I particularly liked the practical approach rather than just focusing on theory. The exercises provide a good opportunity to practice and build confidence with Docker in a real command-line environment. Highly recommended for beginners in DevOps and anyone looking to build a strong foundation in Docker.

This is - by far - the best intro on Docker I've followed yet. It covers the history and generals concepts quickly but thoroughly, and then gets on with actually useful hands-on labs. As these labs are online and prepackaged, you don't have to struggle with local installations that are just that little bit different from what is being shown by an instructor, meaning you can stay focused on the content rather than being distracted by an environment that doesn't exactly work as expected.

This is an outstanding hands-on course on Docker that provides excellent clarity on key concepts and resolves common doubts effectively. Mumshad delivers the content with great expertise, though his speaking pace is quite fast. I found that adjusting the playback speed to 0.75x made the lectures easier to follow and ensured a better understanding of the material. Overall, this course is highly valuable for anyone seeking practical knowledge of Docker.

The course was good. Only thing concerned a little was the pace of the course. Even on 1x speed, it sometimes felt little fast, but when tried on 0.75x, it felt a bit slower. So, I struggled little here on finding the correct pace for me. Such might not be the case for others though. Liked the course. It was informative for a beginner.

In general the course is a good introduction to Docker, with a good amount of what I believe will be everyday commands to make use of Docker at the beginning. The edition in some classes is not great, with sentences cut mid being said or some references from the video wrong. The teacher in general explains really well and is easy to understand, yet some parts the depth of their explanations is not deep enough, or more resources should be provided for students to peruse. One quirk is the use of an external platform for quizzes/labs. The platform is really good, and helps test things in a controlled environment, yet it requires to leave Udemy and subscribe in another platform. And in general, I always prefer to test things in my own machine. You can still do this to some extent by yourself. The introductions to Swarm/Kubernetes is OK to fiddle a little, but is understandable they are not more in depth, as the teacher says, they of course require of their own courses.

Great content. It provided the learning I was after. The instructor certainly knows the subject. But I feel that the instructor is reading from a script. And at times, the reading is a bit fast. It is a one way method of learning. When it is clear that the instructor is reading from a script, it makes it even less personable.

The beginning of the course is really great. The explanation is clear and everything is easy to follow. The problems begun to arise later because some content is outdated and doesn't work any more if you follow the lessons: - Lesson 21: it contains and invalid outdated instructions for creating a custom image running Python (there is a GitHub repo for the course that contains yet another instructions that don't work either). - Lesson 29 has an outdated instruction for running a Postgres container that don't work any more. - Lesson 30 - Even worse, the whole goal of this lesson is to create a Compose file in the simplest old format... which turns out not to be supported any more. I was able to solve these problems eventually but I needed to spend more time than necessary on searching for the solution not always related to Docker itself. It also shows a lack of interest of the teacher for updating the course (which is quite typical for Udemy courses). After going through the whole course I did the labs. They are really great. Don't skip them, they are probably the best thing in this course even if it means registering on yet another website. One of the best IT courses on Udemy if it were not for the occasional outdated content.

Delievers what it promises: a brief and good overview of the fundamentals of docker for people without any existing docker experience. Afterwards you will have a solid understanding of the basic docker terms, you will be able to run existing containers from the docker registry and also to orchestrate them via docker-compose.
I also really like the idea behind the practical exercises, using a virtual linux shell on the cloud. But I'm not quite sure if you are not a little lost if you have no linux experience at all.
Even this is a great course there is (as always) some room for improvements:
- the explanations within the practical exercices could be a bit a more detailed. I was sometimes forced to click on the "give me hint" button (which indeed too often just tells you the complete solution) than it would have been necessary if would have better known what to do
- everything appears a bit "impersonal" to me, but I know that is a question of personal taste

The course is a good starting point for beginners, but I would expect a bit more and better explained content. On the other hand, the KodeKloud exercises were really nice.
