Robin Hills
Hi. I'm Robin Hills. I am an emotional intelligence coach, trainer and facilitator with over 40 years' business and commercial experience. I provide knowledge and skills that help people understand themselves and others better.
I have the most comprehensive range of on-line courses based on emotional intelligence in business - not only on Udemy but anywhere on the internet. I am not teaching any other types of course as I am a specialist in emotional intelligence and it is the focus of my business.
In early 2024, I was presented an Honorary Doctorate in Advanced Studies in Psychology in recognition of my contribution to online Emotional Intelligence training, which started with Udemy back in 2014.
My courses go beyond the fundamental basics of emotional intelligence covering many aspects of how it can be applied in day to day work to lead, grow and develop people in ways that build authentic relationships.
My work takes me into small start-ups through to large corporate multi-nationals and into the Public Sector with financial institutions, government departments and health departments, as well as charities. This provides me a practical understanding of how emotional intelligence works and applied in the real world, enabling me to keep up to date with relevant issues.

The Emotional Intelligence and AI course provided valuable insights into how AI can recognize and respond to human emotions while highlighting the importance of human emotional intelligence. The content was engaging, easy to understand, and relevant to today's digital workplace. It enhanced my understanding of the intersection between technology and human interactions.

I enjoyed the instructor and his calm demeanor and presence. There were a lot of generic images of robots or AI-related imagery, which was not super engaging the entire time, but the content being spoken by audio was good.
By Iris Somera on 11/13/2025
This was really easy to follow and understand. Not a lot of new concepts or ideas that have already been communicated in the general AI landscape or in everyday media concerning AI, so I didn't get anything too new from this.
By Jojo Bob Feliciano on 6/19/2024
A very comprehensive, complementary course around working with AI covering what AI CAN'T do. The human aspects are not covered on other courses on AI. They are more focused on the technical aspects and dwell too much on what AI does well overlooking the issues covered extensively in this course.

I real enjoyed the course. But some of the class were not clear. The video were breaking.

The course so far has a lot of information that is valuable, however it feels as if it's catered more to those who are neurotypical. To a neurodivergent person such as myself, a lot of EQ fundamentals tend to be difficult to execute and measure, and thus put us at a disadvantage. Further material that addresses the dynamics of neurodivergent people would be greatly welcomed, even if it's in a separate course. The narration and quality of material is good otherwise.

I found this course to be a good level for someone that is slightly new to both EI and AI. While I liked it, I yearn for a bit more meat. Still appreciate the instructor and the course.
By Raj Divani on 12/1/2023
This is a very different course explaining the strengths of emotional intelligence's compared to AI. It shows what humans uniquely contribute and ways to use our empathy, social understanding, and ability to build relationships in a world increasingly reliant on technology.
By Geoffrey Willans on 11/28/2023
The course provides different perspectives around AI and gave me the chance to think about my experiences and skills needed for my career.
By Bruce O'Brien on 11/27/2023
This is an amazing course on the intersection of EI and AI which goes beyond what people think about when they are considering AI. The instructor helps to redefine the way we approach personal development and the future of AI. Highly recommended.
