Course Description
Building modern applications requires a specialized toolbox of skills and tools. We are going to be using Facebook as an example to build a social network platform from scratch. We will be using modern development techniques that mimic real-world team flow along with some added tooling to help aid with that.
Why did we choose this as the sample project?
Most students that take this course will know or at least have an understanding of Facebook. Instead of spending time trying to explain what our project needs to do and what the expected functionality needs to be, we can jump straight into writing code. This helps facilitate the comprehension of the new concepts we are introducing.
What if I am not sure that I have the skills necessary?
This course is what would be considered an intermediate level course but with basic knowledge of PHP & Javascript even the most beginner will be able to acquire new skills and level up their skills. Working knowledge of Laravel & Vue will increase your chances of grasping every concept. But all and all, every lesson goes into great detail about the "why" we are doing what we are doing.
Will there be boring slides?
Absolutely not! Every video will be engaging, throughly explained and straight to the point. Showing you every nook and cranny of Test-Driven Development using Laravel, Vue, Vue Router & Tailwind CSS.

I hope Gonzalez is doing fine speaking of the course. It was good but first let me tell some of the good sides 1.Its one of the few courses on the internet which is test driven development which perhaps is the way to go. Some of the things I should mention He did set the foundation but lot of things should have been done. First and Foremost he did not show how to delete and edit posts and remove posts along with image. Secondly He did not show how the user can log out . These bare minimal features should be present in each and every courses. I did like the way we could upload images without reload if the other features mentioned were included I would rate him 4.5. Another .5 was deducted because he does not reply though he has been absent from Udemy and Yt for quite a while. I uploaded almost each and every commit but cant retrieve images with posts and I am stuck so here is the link https://github.com/TanzimIbthesam/Laravel-Mini-Projects/commits/LaravelFacebook If anyone is interested to learn and contribute you can email me at tanzim67@gmail.com I want to incorporate more features and take this to a whole new level. Thanks would love to hear from Victor since he is not present for quite a while.

I rate this course with 3 stars, because: The content is good, but ... 1. The instructor doesn't respond on our questions on Q&A section. 2. He used an older version of Laravel (6+), without mentioning it anywhere. So I, who started the course with a newer version of Laravel (7+), have various issues.

Learned a lot of useful information for making a single page application using test driven design. The information was passed along quickly without time being wasted. Sections will need to re-watched just to absorb the information effectively. Overall an amazing course that will teach everyone a lot of useful information

As someone taking on the journey of becoming a self-taught developer, I found this course very insightful and a great foundation for building a complicated applications. Thank you Victor for taking the time to create this course. I look forward to any advanced series you are planning to teach.

I loved the idea of building a clone of a product everybody knows. So it is easy to understand design concepts and follow along. The course itself had a bit too high speed pace, which I personally prefer however for beginners it might be bit overwhelming. I learned a lot of new things and it was an exciting course. Looking forward to extend course project with my own features.

Отличный курс. Все рассказывается максимально подробно. Дополняет все то, что выложено у Виктора на coderstape. Надеюсь после прохождения курса найти подработку по laravel/vue.

There are so many information about the proper ways to develop Laravel application, best practise, code re-factoring and so on. And the best things is, TDD, the things that I scared and avoided, being explained in details in this course.
By Israel Sepulveda on 12/26/2019
This is a great course, but it's not complete since it doesn't cover Laravel Passport which is why I bought it. He touches on Laravel Passport on one episode, but there's no authentication coverage with Vue.
