the points are definitely crucial when considering the mental side of playing any sport. This course so far seems like a better fit for a coach looking to teach students of the game rather than individual athletes (still incredibly helpful)

By Laura K on 2/4/2024

Very brief description of sports psychology. This course touches well known points without providing deeper understanding. Rather general Info, dont necessarly fall into category "sport". Suitable for someone who has never heard of motivation, its types, how it works and whats the importance of it.

By Anas ashraf on 11/17/2023

This one covers the basics of sports psychology. Not given much examples. Slides are minimal. Could be made more attractive by making more slides with the explaining informations and examples

Facilitating learners with reinforcement helps to develop and enhance their learning. Social Physiological factors are more important, Outside Motivation help to achieve the desired results for the player, and social facilitation impacts the performance of players when they have a big size of the audience we should have a checklist of goal setting like a benefit, deadlines, obstacles, planning, resources to complete the task, positive thinking attitude lead towards the success and beyond the limits when they intrinsically motivated, stress plays a major role and impact the player's performance, level of focusing and butterflies in the stomach, frustration and aggression leads to miss contact end up with injuries, we should have proper diet before, during and after practice section which helps to improve the player's performance and health and well-being, the player should now their leave performance so they will work hard to reach out the goals SACE, CSI, BFE & POM's help to identify the mood of players, physical and mental fitness support player to learn their skills and develop their understanding how to exhibit the focused skills, leadership, passion, stability and positive attitude, Mental imaginary skills helps to see successful imaginary performance of mussel movement of self-evident learning, Self-talk is a positive vice push as go go go go us toward success , worries are the stepping stone which helps us to overcome the mistake, sports psychology made learners to focus goals to achieve as an individual and team motivated themself, women have some common issues with daily routines, Premensuration syndrome and post pregnancy, Differently able athletes are encourage. Still, I need to explore more about it.

I don't agree with the fact the personality can not change according to latest studies , personalities do change when people heals their traumas . second thing , dr speaks according to his culture in some occasions and that does not apply to every culture

By Jaleel Cholayil on 4/18/2022

Good lectures and very much informative, the area covered is wide and also crisp. So it's very useful. For a Psychologist who is passionate on the field of Sports Psychology, this course is very useful. A suggestion for future development is to use technical aids more to take lectures, also provide proper sub title to take notes easily.

By Doug Nieman on 1/24/2022

Great information that confirms some thoughts that I have had as a coach of young athletes. This course puts the information into a logical progression in terms that are easily understandable. This course will help any coach or parent in trying to help athletes of all ages to have a proper perspective of athletics.

By Aaron Menezes on 1/21/2022

It was a great match for me. I am studying psychology at a basic level right now in school having only a basic introduction to sports psychology. This course does assumes my knowledge base is vast and is understandable in its teaching style.
