Our professional accredited course on Aromatherapy has been carefully designed to provide you with all the information required for you to become a professional aromatherapist providing treatment for clients. This is a stand-alone course but can easily be used as an add-on to other holistic courses. Aromatherapy is often referred to as an essential oil therapy, but irrespective of the definition, it is the art and science behind using pure essential oils to promote health and well-being enabling balance in life. 

The course features video modules and an in depth training manual.
Pure essential oils can be used in a number of ways but they work by enhancing and unifying physical and emotional health. It should be seen as a complementary therapy and is non-diagnostic, the ethos being to treat the whole person and not just to focus on any symptoms experienced. When used regularly, it assists the natural healing process. 

This course provides you with a thorough grounding in the theoretical aspects of aromatherapy. It includes the traits of the main oils, recipes, how to blend and also, the chemistry aspect of aromatherapy while adhering to the safety requirements.  There is a £15 admin fee (or your currency equivalent) if you wish to go ahead and have Karen’s certificate, which is different to the standard Udemy certificate - Details will be given in the course.

While I like the information in the PDF manual, I would have liked more info from the instructor, otherwise why make it a video? The PDF will be valuable to have as a reference but I would have preferred more in the way of teaching from the instructor rather than just a summary of the PDF. It really should be the other way around. The Instructor should be giving more video and the PDF should be a summary of what she discussed. Many people take video courses because they have trouble conceptualizing written text. This course unfortunately does not take that into consideration.

The handbook for this course is fab, it is really detailed and useful and is definitely something to keep and refer back to :) However, just for me personally I would have preferred more guided learning or interaction or even something a little more in depth in terms of the videos, as these unfortunately only give a short/brief overview of what that particular module in the handbook consists of. But overall it was an enjoyable course to study. Thanks!
