Thank you for this excellent course. It covers almost everything you need to prepare effectively for and successfully clear the certification. The course content is well-structured and does a great job of explaining the concepts clearly, making them easy to understand and apply. I was able to complete the certification on 15th Sept 2026, I would suggest everyone to do practical along with learning.

After several months of flying by the seat of the pants to refine and advance a suite of inherited terraform manifests specifying hundreds of diverse resources, this course is giving me the theoretical and practical foundation to truly understand what all the tf is doing and how. Very well done, well presented and thorough. UPDATE: Passed the exam on my first attempt after studying 80% of this course plus 3 practice exams from another course.

Excellent course for preparing for the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (004) exam. Bryan Krausen explains each topic clearly, provides practical examples, and organizes the material in a way that is easy to follow. The course helped strengthen my understanding of Terraform concepts and help me pass the associate exam today. Fantastic course! Started this course immediately after getting AWS-SAA certified and was able to get Terraform certified in just over 2 weeks with no prior experience! Clear diagrams and explanations made concepts stupidly easy to grasp in a very short amount of time. This is an exam-focused course and it more than covers what you need to know with plenty of repetition of concepts throughout. The exam-focus does mean that you won't necessarily get a ton of Cloud-Provider specifics and/or coverage on how to work with a lot of the core services on different providers in Terraform, not necessarily a problem but be aware. That being said, all resources created in Hands-On course content were completely free which is appreciated. I do have just a few suggestions on things I noticed could be different below, mostly regarding course flow, but they're little things that should definitely not stop anyone from taking this course. > Order - Enhancing code w dynamic values -> before -> functions lecture (Seems to intro the different topics in the section but is after functions video?) - Refactoring Terraform State section -> before -> Making Code Reusable section (doesn't seem to be a reason dynamic code section has to be before this, and this would make order: 1. state 2. refactoring 3. reusable code 4. Modules, which feels like a better flow > Map of Object pattern coverage (could be in Variable type or Making code reusable section?) - makes an appearance in the last lab in the module section w/o ever being mentioned anywhere in lecture - has its own practice exam question but is only ever mentioned in the final exam review > Calling Modules with the Module Block - Intro is outdated since it now exists in the module section

Probably the best Udemy course I have taken. Instructor is engaging and very thorough . There is a LOT of material, excellent slides and all provided to download. There is plenty of hands on through Github codespaces - readme for AWS, Azure and Github. I can only stress to go through all labs and quizzes and take your time. I spent a week on this course and passed my exam yesterday with no Terraform experience.

I really enjoyed the structure and its connection to the Tf Assoc exam objectives: Main Suggestions: Include a separate "Congrats on completing the course" video at the end instead of at the end of the obj 8 review video. Really emphasize the extra practice exams you offer. I've done two other them so far (plus the one in this course) and they help a ton.

Overall the course is excellent. However, I find that it lacks practice. Some demonstrations are carried out without the code being provided, which makes monitoring more difficult. Furthermore, not all sessions have an English translation; it would be nice if this were systematic.

Passed the exam!! Came back to give props to Bryan for the amazing course. The only material i used to study and get hands-on practice. The only reason its a 4.5 is you have to bundle the practice exams with the course, they are equally great.

I prepared for the exam using both Bryan's theory course and his practice exams, scoring over 80% on 6 of them. The actual exam was very similar to the practice exams, which made the experience feel smooth and familiar. There were no questions covering content that wasn't addressed in the course. I really appreciate the effort Bryan put into creating this course. In my opinion, this is one of the best Udemy courses for exam preparation. Highly recommended!

The course is great: it’s packed with well-structured, detailed information and was helpful for learning the material. There were just a few minor things, like some unreadable text in a couple of slides in the attached presentation, and a few notes in the summaries that felt like they hadn’t been fully covered in the lessons. Nothing major, and it didn’t affect my understanding, but it did make parts of the course feel a bit unpolished. Overall, though, I’d definitely recommend it - the content and organization are great, and it’s a very solid learning experience.
