[NEW] Amazon S3 Deep Dive: The Ultimate Guide to AWS Storage (Udemy.com)

This was HEAVILY targeted to Admin/Financial people, and not towards the programmers who will be working with the storage interfacing and code. I'd have appreciate that being made clear in the title of the course, as most of this course ended up not applying to me. But I had to go through it all to find that out.

I really enjoyed the course. It gave me a clear understanding of AWS S3 and helped me learn the concepts I needed for my project. While few parts were theoretical and not fully demonstrated, I was able to practice alongside the lessons and explore on my own, which helped me grasp the topics deeply.

Super comprehensive course I really enjoyed and I also feel like I have learned a lot. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is I feel like at some point there were no demos, a lot of theoretical knowledge with no real examples that forces me to go and google it myself to learn how to actually do it. (All the monitoring section for example)

Excellent overview of S3! It really gives a broad overview of all things S3 and is very approachable and informative. The only things that could be added in my opinion is maybe a demo of a multi-part upload and more focus on the CLI. That said, great class!

The AWS S3 Deep Dive course provided a comprehensive overview of S3 features and functionalities. The theoretical content was excellent. While hands-on exercises covered many topics, additional practical sessions would enhance the learning experience. The inclusion of troubleshooting techniques would be beneficial. Overall, the course content was valuable and engaging.

Missing content and examples/demos. The presenter pasted in a handful of JSON directives but never made the connection from creating a new user to providing access to exercising methods from the command line. The course is a 'fair' introduction but NOT an 'Ultimate' or 'Deep Dive' guide. The GitHub contains nearly nothing except the first commit of his JSON, and the 'resources' are just a handful of sample files or links to AWS Product Pages which are all public facing. Exercises and challenges are far and few between. At a low/discounted cost, I cannot say that it is not worth it for an absolute beginner after only cursory knowledge, but I spent many many hours hoping to get some deep detail and on multiple occasions, the promised content was missing. Having said this, Bryan is knowledgeable, presents well, and uses materials that look very much like official AWS collateral (slides)... the course is just incomplete, in my opinion.
