How to Design an Awesome Letterhead in Adobe Illustrator (Udemy.com)

Its a good match for me, due to the fact, I have some projects for clients, that could lead to something in the future. I still need to learn several subjects so that, I can tackle issues better, when they develop.

The concept and the goal of the course is so simple, but this is not the problem. If you are a newbie in Illustrator the instructor will not give you any basis for you to learn to use the program, and if you have some experience in illustrator the task is so simple that you surely know how to do this simple task. I think, for this reasons, this course is near to be useless.

This course was perfect for a person who knows a little about programs like Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop because of the layering and selection process. If you don't understand terms like layering, opacity, masking, etc. Just do a little research online. I know very little and this was great to move my knowledge up just a notch.

Although I have designed various letterheads over the years, I felt it important to pick up any ancillary knowledge that Daniel Evans might be able to provide. True to form, because his approach is straight ahead and rigorous, yet easy to understand, I've already had various aspects of my process validated and picked up several new tips as well. I am especially appreciative to learn more about how AI logo files can provide more to the letterhead than just a single symbol in a corner, meaning watermarks, etc.

Another great value course from Daniel Evans! It gave me a very good explanation on how to create a letterhead from a logo, which is something I was a bit scared to offer to my logo clients, as I had no idea what to include in it. Daniel gave very relevant options in the course and also provided additional logos for practicing this design. Now I feel confident I can create letterheads from any of my clients' logos. And all this from a free course. Now I'm looking forward to watching his complete course about designing not only letterheads but also business cards and compliment slips.

This course is kind of basic for those who have already their hands on documents (even using MS Word) but it has brought that small light in my head in regard with global balance of a document. I'm really enjoying it and will surely pass the course again as i invite you who read this to do simply because repetition is the mother of all science and mastery. Blessings !

Letterhead design course by Sir Daniel Evan was definitely helpful for a beginner who wants to know the fundamentals of letterhead design. The short course was explained well. Though it's a short course I have gained a lot about letterhead designing. Thank you so much Sir Daniel for sharing your expertise in letterhead designing.

I completed the course and I must say the course was very good and up to point instructions. although I would very much like more information about the topic and also real-world application about the topic. The instructor was very good at explaining topics throughout the course. Although he responded a bit late to my questions but that's fine I would recommend please improve your response time to the Q&A section. overall very good course and great instructor.

I learned - that the K at CYMK stands for black which I find is very confusing - I learned that PDF can be vector and supports fonts whereas Illustrator's ai format is vector but has no font support - I learned how and when to use clipping mask - I knew that you can align objects to other object horizontally/vertically. I didn't knew you can do so on the artboard too Thanks

This is a very inspirational course, and has given me several good ideas that I want to test out. The course is very "to the point" which tells me that it is well prepared. The examples are esthetically pleasing. I am not a designer by profession, but very interested in visual communication and branding. The courses are also a good way to get hints on how to use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign - tools that I cannot get enough of. Thank you for yet another excellent course!
